Darksiders.II.Update.1-SKIDROW seems to also unlock the DLC quest Argul's Tomb.
Ot at least it adds the DLCPACK15 folder and the file inside named TITLE says so.
"Anatidaephobia is the fear that somewhere in the world there is a duck watching you."
Fuck Polish government for oppressing women!
"People are such awful conversationalists that they’ll interrupt you when you’re answering a question they asked."

I reckon it'll be like the Temple DLC stuff in Risen 2; requiring extra files to be complete.

Beat the game after 30+hrs or so. Damn the last boss was harder than the Destroyer.
ENDING: HEAVY spoiler alert.
Spoiler: | After beating the Corruption/Absalon Death has to choose between restoring humanity or the nephilim at the Well of Souls. For the sake of War he chooses humanity, dooming the souls of the nephilim forever for some reason, probably dramatic effect. "There must be a sacrifice", says the undead Crowfather"Now give me your mask and kill yourself". Death being a swell guy does just that and jumps into the WoS.
"From Death came Life, the seeds (ew) of humanity have been planted". As the game takes place in the same time period as the first game a moment later we see the ending of DS1, so he is resurrected and joins his brothers on Earth. |

Does it mess with the existing saves, if applied?

So... is the game any good? I liked the first one, but never finished it. I barely finish games to be honest.
Anyway... I'm waiting for Sleeping Dogs to get cracked. Is this game a good time filler or what? And how's the performance? Better or worse than the first?

I'm about halfway through and it's definitely an improvement over the first. Combat is fast and fluid, the loot system makes you want to explore more, and as long as you don't use the DLC gear, boss fights can be a challenge. It still has hints of Zelda but also Sands of Time and maybe Soul Reaver.
If the first one was too long for you then you probably won't finish this one, it's at least twice as long.

Cool. Cool cool cool.
I'll probably give it till tomorrow for a crack to surface for Sleeping Dogs, and if it doesn't I'll surely try this one.
As for the first, I can't really remember why I stopped playing. I liked, but I guess some new game came out, so I shifted games and ended up unistalling ad deleting it.
Shit. Thinking of it, I really liked it. Maybe if I have the time, I'll re-dowmload it, so I could finish it.

Ah yes that should work. Anyone with a legit Steam copy who wants to test it for me?

I think the game bugged out on me too, at the Wailing Host boss.
Spoiler: | Once you get the that little timer circle above his head and you're supposed to nuke him down quickly he constantly resets his health bar back. |
