Sleeping Dogs Limited Edition STEAM UNLOCKED Multi P2P
Didn't see a NFO with it.
EDIT: Seems it doesn't come with a crack.

I haven't played a game using that fucking WASD since like 1992, and I'm not about to start now. That's what I get for going against my better judgment and supporting the developer. Out $34, with no way to comfortably play, all because some shit heel decided to hard-code controls. |
Holy hell, people actually use the arrow keys for gaming still? Not that I disagree that you should be able to remap the keys to how you please, but WASD is just way more ergonomically accessible..

Hey guys, what's a better option for me? I recently discovered that I haven't even played Batman:AC, but this looks like a very good open world too.
Can anyone who's played both games offer insight as to which game is more fun and addicting? Thanks.

I have no experience on the subject at all, but would such programs as GreenLuma and/or other Steam related applications work here in this situation? I'm assuming no, because of the CEG, am I right?
Oh, and:

I'm assuming you want to play with the arrow keys, correct? If so, remap the WASD keys to the arrow keys, and then the up arrow key to the one you want to bring up the phone. |
That's the thing, you can't remap the key that brings up the phone. The phone hot keys (the arrow keys) are not remappable through the game (there's no entries for them), and will always bring up the phone.
Ended up playing with an x360 controller, which is fucking sad.

Left Hand Rest on arrow keys - Movement
Right Shift - Jump (pinky)
Right Ctrl - Crouch (pinky)
Numpad 0 - Use (pointer)
Numpad 1 - Grenade Throw(pointer)
Numpad 2 - Enter Vehicle (pointer)
Numpad 7 - Spot (pointer)
Numpad . - Fire Select Toggle (pointer)
Rest of the main functions are bound to the mouse.
This has been my FPS/main setup since time immemorial. WASD sucks because I have big hands, and its easy to lose position and fuck up ALL of your other key presses. Arrow keys are very nicely separated and segmented. There's no accidental key presses in the heat of the action.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

I hope it's cracked soon...I'm in the mood for an open world action/crime game, and the setting is appealing, east instead of west.
I hope the story is decent and well presented.
Grabbing the unlocked version and waiting.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

People who use the mouse left handed wil need to use there right hand to use the arrow keys |
If you have the mouse in the left hand you can also try using Num 4,5,6 and 8 instead of the arrow keys. Its ergonmically more like WASD.

This game came out of nowhere for me and i'm really enjoying it.
There is just so much to do in the game, and because everything you do unlocks more stuff it gives you motivation to do all the side missions.
The game has a great variety of little 'mini-games' in each mission as well. Be it planting bugs, or lockpicking.
Graphics are decent, but even with the high-res texture pack I feel the textures should be higher resolution.
I get sort of a weird 'shuttering' effect right now when a vehicle is moving fast. It almost seems like an intentional 'fast and the furious' lame effect. Anyone else notice this?
The melee combat is fantastic in this game. Some of the best i've ever played. Better then Batman: AA/AC IMO. Batman AA/AC really didn't have much to it once it came to melee combat. It was satisfying, but not difficult. In this game there is just so much more going on during melee combat and you really have to think more about it. Tons of different moves that work for different situations as well.

This game has the most detailed city in a sandbox game ever. Yeah, even better than GTA IV.

Agreed. I feel like every square inch of space on the game map has *something* in it.
That being said, I still think GTAIV did a somewhat better job in other areas. The damage models on the cars are better in GTAIV. Stuff just doesn't seem to fly off cars in this game like it did in GTAIV. Nor do the physics seem as good in this game.
Rockstar also does a much better job with the general 'feel' of a game, and really creating a virtual world better. Be it in the radio stations, or the people walking around the in game. It just feels more lifelike and live in GTAIV driving around the city.
This game is a better game in the more important areas though IMO. Such as character control / feel, fighting mechanics, number of things to do, etc.
If they had the 'rockstar touch' in this game I feel it would easily be one of the best games ever made.

I wonder how moddable this will be? I think it's using a propriety engine? It would be cool to see the sorts of mods GTA has seen for cars and such. And with ENB it might look pretty saucy.
