I just saw on the TV Guide channel that they are removing Sci-Fi from the basic lineup to Digital and that I'll have to switch to get it. After looking around the web I found that it's part of a move where they eventually want to force all of their analog subscribers over to digital to make more money; those greedy fucks! I already pay almost a hundred bucks a month for internet and cable service now they want me to pay more for their stupidass digital service? Fuck that!!! I'm sorry I really had to vent. This pisses me off to no end. Soon they'll be cutting other channels and all that will be left if shit like QVC and HGTV. Where's another damn provider when you need one. These monopolist pigs need to piss off! Somebody needs to seriously do something.
My cable provider is doing stuff like that as well; but they are just not doing any upgrades to the old system. One of the main reasons they are doing this is becasue of lost revenue due to cable theft. With the present system anyone with a good pair of pliers can get free cable(not going into details).
