I think Bet on Soldier isnt a fully online game! It has a story with betting on Soldier and using better and better armor...
It whould be enough if DT4 can handle this game ^^
On Daemon-tools.cc they say a new announcement will be out on next saturday! Im looking forward for the rls in august ^^

That game looks cool! Looks like it's going to be similar to Fallout. At least it's not starforced.

Also, bet on soldier looks pretty good thus far >http://www.betonsoldier.com/>

I STILL play silent storm, amazing game, great demolition physics, way ahead of its time, still is |
I'm just now finishing up SS and will be playing SSS after. Sadly I'd never even heard of the game til someone here mentioned it a couple weeks ago. Seems like the game wasn't marketed at all in the US, and to get the Gold edition you have to import it. Just pathetic considering how much garbage they do release here.
H&S is a new SS engine game, yea. Same world, just set in 1949. Pretty sure it doesn't require the original game like Sentinels did though. Sounds really interesting so far, and the best news of all--no Panzerkleins. They really should have had a sci-fi/realistic toggle like Jagged Alliance 2 did. The open endedness sounds cool, and they've apparently taken a cue from JA2 and put in personalities for your hired soldiers.
There's another game called Nightwatch (Nochnoy Dozor) that Nival is developing too (SS engine again). It's based on the Russian book/movie of the same name. The movie is in US theaters next Friday, dunno when the game will be out. I've seen the movie, it's really good--vampires, shapeshifters, matrix-y effects, and an interesting story (that apparently makes a lot more sense if you read the books, which are unfortunately Russian-only for the time being). It definitely could make a good game.

Yea, H&S being SF3 is kind of a bummer, but fortunately I don't see how Nival could possibly screw up a game which is basically SS but more open-ended and no PKs so it's one of the few things I'd buy without hesitation. The fact that it's only $30 doesn't hurt either.

Well, the 'pl' part normally means it's a Polish release that isn't multi-language. Seeing as the company who made the game is also from Poland, I'd say that's a pretty safe bet in this case. They released the game in their own country before localization was done for other places.
Same thing happened with Hammer and Sickle. It's been out in Russia for a while now (but SF3 there too, so there's no 'ind' release).

Thats BS, there is no polish version even tough it has polish developers. The only real Earth 2160 version is Earth_2160_GERMAN_DVD-TNT and its quite easy to get hold of nowadays thx to me.

There is a polish version. Earth.2160.PL-iND
It`s working, and 100% real.
But the game itself is pure crap.

well those pics dont do it justice, think of a turn based squad game, and throw in completely destructible enviroments (yes, including non-scripted walls and floors blowing away)

I saw both Hellforces and Codename Panzers Phase Two in stores here in Holland. CPPT is a DVD release and Hellforces is a cd release. Dunno how many cds.
Warren Spector : I never minded piracy. Anyone who minds about piracy is full of shit. Anyone who pirates your game wasn’t going to buy it anyway!
Hideo Kojima: If you want to simply tell a story, you can create a film or write a novel.
