i finished it a few years back. awesome game and a precursor to a lot of modern game concepts.

it came out too early though. the idea was ahead of the tech at the time.

It was rough and a bit clunky, but the physics were quite amazing for that time..it doesn't deserve the hate that it got. Razz

I followed this game on their official forum for like 2-3 years, daily. Never been so hyped for a game in my whole life. I made a small interview with one of the developers for a swedish 3D site (yes there were special sites for 3D games back then lol).

It doesnt deserve the hate maybe but it didnt deserve the extreme hype either. The devs promised a lot more, it delivered maybe 60% of what was promised, so it was hard to not be very disapointed when it was released.

That game was fucking great back then!
I completed it more then once and really enjoyed it.
I still remember how i was chased by 2 of those little runner dinosaurs and ran to a house and climbed up there as fast as i could. And the adrenaline! Laughing Because you could die every second.

holy shit, the fan patch has a draw distance setting and it absolutely rapes my PC. at 1680x1050, as soon as i even touch the distance slider, i get slowdowns.

and without the distance slider, the game tunrs 3d objects into sprites at a very near distance.

Was a revolutionary game back then, don't remember why maybe the physics. I remember throwing rocks at some boulder then it would drop on the dino, if you missed it would kill you.

Never played this game. I don't even remember reading anything about it. Hmm. But I did watch your stream for few minutes the other day. I liked the part where you tried to pick up the rifle and your arm went all Stretch Armstrong.
