extract the dx9 folder stuff into the system folder of hunted (where the .exe is)
open the ini file and change from HIGH to ULTRA, and put 1 for the steam overlay hack if your using steam.

Thanks  Yeah it looks so much better than the vanilla version, at least the lighting/textures/landscapes. Models haven't been improved, but overall it's still quite great. And the gameplay is even better of course.  |

those are boobs. and yeah the game is very outdated in certain aspects. but the last fan patch is from 2010 and it adds all sorts of widescreen resolutions, and a lod switching draw distance slider for those with really fast gpu's.
phsyx are quite amazing for late 1998.
it also had regen health in 1998 the heart would slowly turn white if you dont take damage for a few seconds.
