Un.fucking.believable!
So i'm german, in germany and i just noticed this steam quakecon sale bundle thing this afternoon and i thought to myself: This is strange, on the main page it says: Total value €256,80 now for only €99,99, but when i actually view the contents of the bundle it says total value €197,54, so something's not right here.
And just now i read on a german gaming news website about this bundle and that in the US (or pretty much the rest of the world afaik) this bundle costs $99 (around €80) and it contains 43 items, whereas the bundle i'm seeing on steam contains 21 (that's twentyone!) items, and they still charge €99,99 for it!!! Now if you're wondering what's missing, i only see Doom 3 in there, I and II are mia, not a single Quake in sight, just the Brink, Elder Scrolls and Fallout stuff.
Now i'm wondering who's to blame for this ripoff? Is it Valve, Bethesda or Zenimax or whatever they're called, because whoever it is is getting a nice email from me

oh i did not know you could do this (this is awkward), but i didn't wanna buy it anyway, i'm just pissed generally about them withholding games from the german steamstore.
Couple months ago i wanted to buy the Warhammer 40K Dawn of War Gold or Platinum Pack, only to see a notice "reduced violence version, only available in german language", which made it an immediate no-buy for me, sadly. I'm not playing DOW in german!

It's great to see Carmack pull off a 3 and a half hour keynote speech without any notes or a teleprompter. Really shows that he's passionate about the stuff that he's doing ;')
