It's probably too early for anyone to know the answer to this, but is the FLT release playable online (possibly with Hamachi/Tunngle/Greenluma/Smartsteam)?
I have a feeling it probably won't be given how the demo required invites through Steam Friends. I guess I'll try and pick it up cheap during Xmas, assuming it goes on sale.
Edit:- OK apparently you can play co-op via GreenLuma.

All I know is that Theta doesn't regulate its actions in accordance to the Scene's. Plus, they're not part of it - all the more reason not to care about their rules.
Can't point you to other games as well since that's not a priority of my memory to keep check of such things, but I've seen them put games past scene release not once or twice.

Yes,Greenluma and some shady files from "that russian forum" makes it work perfectly

I could be mistaken, but I can't see the current workaround working for very long, it seems it's just using the steam appid of Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter. When Steam catch on there's suddenly a huge influx of people playing that game, they'll know something's up.
If my memory serves me right, I believe a similar thing happened when Civ 5 got released and cracked. It was a case of jumping around different steam appids, finding one that worked. Eventually I think they plugged them all.

Pretty much all steam games work at any given time, at least in my experience, you can actually use a $2 retail game appid and I doubt it would ever get blocked, most people prefer to use the free ones of course, which do get blocked regularly. SSHD has been going on several months now.. steam sure are sloppy about the whole situation- not that I mind

are you implying that, you could use the appid of a cheapass game on any pirated mp game as long as the cheap one is in your account?

Yep.
Thats what i did for Dead Island and Payday (at least to play with my friends), you wont be able to find random guys playing this game with that method since everyone will use a different appid.

GreenLuma - Installed steam, copied greenLuma files into steam. Already grabbed "Orcs.Must.Die.2.Crack.MP-manuelin" (which included appid file) and put those in the FLT release folder.
Now what? Do I run greenluma first and this FLT game must be on left side and installed to work? If so, it sys ORC2 (Install). That dont work. or..do I keep greenluma open, then run the game separately?
If I run the OrcsMustDie2.exe file, game boots up, but how do I invite people? Shift+tab?
I already have a legit steam game Call of Duty if that matters.

No buy! |
Who would wanna play with random people anyway? |
on my main steam i have about 20 people, which are trully friends. not random crap from internet.
from them, probably 2-3 will buy the same games like me.
chance to be all online at the same time, and have the same time availible to play are close to 0.
no buy from me. that kind of limitation blows.

Well your CPU is certainly far from great, that he is correct about. Probably not the issue even still.
Although I believe the engine is UE3 which is highly CPU dependent, I really think they've done something weird with it as performance is not brilliant even on my i7.
Nowhere near pegged at 99% here, but I get some pretty random slowdowns at times.
I'm just gonna recommend ditching the FLT version if you're using it. Their prototype crack is sloppy, and this may be more of the same.

yea, slowdowns, i think that is not cpu related, playing crysis 2, serious sam 3 fluidly, only gothic 4 has also slowdowns, but gothic 4 is not optimized good,..

Sure you are.
I had an e8400 ages ago, it's bottlenecking hard in crysis 2 for ex, my old 560ti was working only at 50% because of it. SS3 and gothic 4 might not be cpu heavy though, no idea bout those.
As soon as i upgraded to a i5 suddenly bam 99% usage on my gpu.
Get over it really, the e8400 was the best dual cpu with nice OC too but nowadays it's old. Get with the times and get a i5 or dont complain.
About OMD2 i got no issues whatsoever, perfectly smooth with 4x AA 1080p no stutter no slowdown nothing -> this to the i7 comment above. This is on a i5 2500 stock + gtx 680.

Why the orcs must die a sceond time?! Why, I ask you?!
What do you have against the poor creatures?! They are just idiots! They don't deserve to die! Especially in those imaginative ways...

Depends on title like i said, this being an indie one i don't expect anything from it tbh.
I'm just sayin it's not your gpu that's at fault here, take it or leave it.

Anyone happen to know where the savegames are stored for this? I wanted to xfer my stuff back and forth from my laptop/desktop but Steam Cloud doesn't seem to be implemented/supported and I couldn't find any actual save files in the usual locations.
Thanks in advance.

Great game.
Those endless fights are super hard. I managed to get to wave 14 barely, then i went down faster than a hooker on friday night. Still need to explore couple of the traps and weapons tho.

This game is -guess what- absolutely amazing and addictive, just like the first one .
It's basically a more of the same, but with much more variety/upgrades and more satisfying physics. Good stuff!
