If I was together with someone else I would never cheat. I don't care what kind of girl I'd meet, I wouldn't do it. For me it has to do with integrity and morality. Yes, I'd obviously want to have sex with that girl, just like any guy is still attracted to other women even if they're in a relationship... But that doesn't mean I'll actually do it because to me, it wouldn't just be a betrayal towards my girlfriend, it would be a betrayal towards myself as I know I wouldn't forgive someone who cheats on me.
I have extremely strong views about cheating in a relationship, it's all about trust and trust isn't just about honesty (as in admitting to have cheated (and no, not talking about you Phil here even if you did it)) but it's also about knowing you can trust that person to NOT cheat again. Which is something I just couldn't do if that were to happen.
So, how could I possibly let myself cheat on my girlfriend while knowing I could never forgive my girlfriend for cheating on me?
Also, Phil, going by my views on this subject you're an asshole BUT (and this is important) everyone's different and the relationship you two are still having despite her knowing you will most probably continue to cheat is different from any relationship I would ever continue with, so I can't really call you an asshole unless I know for a fact that she is being completely faithful to you. If she is being completely faithful to you despite what you do, and she still stays with you, well... It's a bit hard for me to feel sympathy for her then but it's never just black or white so yeah. And of course she could also be opening up to polygamy or some such (not likely since she dislikes what you do but still)...
But it certainly seems like you're hurting her, but you also know that since you feel kind of bad about it so hey, seems like you and her both need help (if you and her both consider your behavior and relationship to be in trouble if this continues)? :/

Noticed that as well. At first he seemed, well, slightly concerned and admitted he's been to therapy, and now he seems to be proud and have no problems with his actions at all.

Puh you know... at first i thought a serious discussion would be possible here. But after so many insults and people who talk about empathy at the same time, im not taking it serious anymore. Though theres a fun factor in it.
But! You guys had some points there, and thats why i decided to NOT meet this hot girl and fuck her. Its not because society thinks im a bad guy when i dont follow there rules, but because for the simple fact that the emotional pain this action could cause, is not worth the fun.
Besides that i have quiet a different world view then most people. In fact, it wouldnt be me thats causing this hurt to her, it would be herself. Sounds weird huh? Would go too far to explain that, especially because most of you wouldnt even understand it then. No hard feelings there.

Have you ever had a relationship that lasted longer then 6 months? In that case you wouldnt ask this question. Theres a slightly difference between sex and the knowledge of having someone who loves you, no matter what.
