Ugh, i didn't even read the article but just saw the link name.. I was hoping that the story trailer with her was just some sort of cover up or 47 helping her out by faking her death. Sad panda now..

Actually Interinactive, 47 showed plenty of emotions.

in H:C47 you find out that his display of affection was towards a runaway laboratory rabbit that he adopted. He even cried after the rabbit died, to Ort-Meyer's displeasure. Ort-Meyer also noted that none of the clones ever cried before.

A theory suggests that he had some sort of feelings towards Lei Ling from H:C47 and H2:SA (which would also explain why he was in China in the ending of H:BM, but for some reason he winds up in Chicaco at the beginning of H:A Scratch Head )

He grew very fond of Father Vittorio from H2:SA.

He also liked the canary he got in H:BM, as in various cutscenes you can see him playing with it (though ultimately killing it)

If you consider him a psychopath (well, he WAS created and bred to be one) think of it as him being pissed after loosing a valuable asset. Somebody destroyed something that was his, so he retaliates.

Then there's the fact that 47 is on assignment to kill Diana in Absolution, if he was ruled by emotion it would seem like a backwards thing to do for any reason.

That's precisely why the basic premise behind Absolution sucks ass. It doesn't make sense for 47 to kill Diana, when he could have done any other thing as a simple favour, same as Diana saved his life in H:BM, he could have forged her death in Absolution.

To be honest, I think that Diana will live either way, either by some stupid "hey, I came back to life" bullshit, or 47 will let her walk. Why do I think that? The black chick that currently does a VO of Diana wouldn't receive the cash for spewing out 4 sentences before death.

Unless there are flashbacks to 47's previous life when he was still employed by ICA.

Wow, what a good shot that guy was.. not. A game like this should be designed for PC, not derpbox 360. How do you even snipe with a controller without aim assist or some shit running? I have a feeling this game won't be even remotely as good as previous hitman games. It will be dumbed down for the new generation of couch potatoes.

That movie's a pretty good example of the crap people keep conjuring up. Saying that Derp'Ovision is a replacement for the map 'where you could see everything anyway' is complete bullshit, there was no way could you ever use the map to see people through walls like that at a distance. I really hope there is a difference between how it works in that video to how it works in the full version because among every other crutch you now have to stand on, it leaves nothing to chance. What a boring way to play video games.

I understand the developers. There's no other way to get that new retarded generation of gamers. It says on the cover Pegi 18 but morelikely they make the game for 0-6 aged kids...

I asked that derp vision to my hitman fan friend. And all he says "of course there must be a vision. You're a assassin dude! You must know where your enemies stand lol wut " What a dumbass, but he was always a dumbass...

So you see,it's obvious which sells in this industrie now Sad

So, I'm one of the few here to actually play the Sniper Challenge? (Pre-ordered from Amazon and had the mission sat in my Steam library for weeks. Very Happy ).

It's... Underwhelming. It really is just a Sniper challenge. Not many options, but since all you're doing is sitting there shooting people, I suppose they can get away with that? AA is a simple yes/no tick box. Option for SSAO. Micro-stuttering in intro-movie (due to crossfire?). Instinct mode is broken - you can totally see enemies through walls - and in fact you're advised to use it by your handler.

It's fairly boring, since you can't do anything except shoot people. I was under the impression that you could at least re-position yourself, but... No.

I was also hoping to use this as a demo to see if it was worth actually buying, but I don't think it's possible to judge the actual game based on this (assuming you can turn off Instinct mode in the full-game, which they've said you can).

Oh, and the PC port is done by Nixxes, who ported Deus Ex:HR, so the full game should have more options.

The Sniper Challenge "game" or what it is seems to be using DX11, at least that's how it looks like when I check the exe and the accompanying D3D11 .dll files.

Can't be started though since the 3DM and Ali213/Netshow releases are unaltered.

EDIT: Well, it seems that's fixed now then with that little update. Very Happy

Hehe, what's boring, pointless and idiotic for us is awesome, exciting and brilliant for the couch generation...we're the minority, we've got to deal with that. Crying or Very sad
