you should have one liquid that is basicly just sterile water (not the one that you let the lenses in over night in the plastic cup thingy). Pour that shit into your eyes, they'll pop out eventually.

I tried washing my eyes before going to sleep yesterday with tap water, but it didnt help it anyway.
Fuck, I woke up this moring and one eye is still red and hurts a bit and both eyes have shitloads of eye wax and it feels like somebody came into my eyes last night.

NEVER use tap water with your lenses. It will make them all blurry.

And yeah, if you sleep with them in your eyes, you will have some "eye wax" in the morning hehe.

yeah takes a couple weeks for your eyes to adapt to a patch of silicon being on them ^^. 2 weeks is the normal amount. Before you bought them, you did some tests, no ? Normally they make a tear test, to see if you produce enough fluids in your eyes. If so, just give it 1-3 weeks to get used to. I have lenses now for 6 or so years and i don't feel them at all anymore and i keep them on for day and night lol (and i am supposed to take them out over night and clean them, but i dont even bother anymore, just rinse them in the morning with the liquid (sterile water stuff)).

Dude seriously you can't do this. I did this for years and i almost damaged my eyes because the veins in your eyes grow outside to get the oxygen they need.
Its not for the contacts that you need to take them out... its for your eyes.

When you do this for to long you permanant damage your eyes and you can't wear any contacts nomore + no future laser surgery

Just put your thumb and pointing finger on your eye... hold the lense and look upwards. You shouldnt wear it with irritaded eyes. Just build it up like i said before and don't try this eye for the next 2 days i guess.

I prefer dailies just throw them away when you go to bed every night.
Wake up and use fresh ones. No need to clean anything.

i have a condition called Keratoconus which is basically an odd shaped cornea that results in blurry and double vision. I had to wear RGP's (hard contact lens) which then corrects my vision to 20/20..soft contacts are no good as they just mould to the shape of the eye so doesnt provide correction. RGPs sit on the cornea. I had dry eyes for ages until i found a drop called Celuvisc..My day used to end at 7PM tops due to dry eye but now can go from 6AM to 11PM no problems with 3 or 4 capsules a day

try these,

if you still have the blurryness when using these then you really have a problem, I have tried many many many lenses, these are BY FAR the best you can get for you eyes, they'r more expensive but your eyes are very precious so don't skimp on cheap lenses!

I wear glasses since I was 16 and they're 100% correct for my (quite strong actually) myopia, that is not the problem..it's just that I don't feel comfortable, kinda "constrained" due to the fish eye vision. :/

The key here is not have glasses with 100% eyesight, settle to about +/- 70%. And if you need 100% eyesight go with second pair. This way it will take longer for eyesight to deteriorate further if at all.

That sounds like a good tactic Razz. Though at the moment I use glasses when I'm at home and contacts when I'm away, it's definitely a good compromise since driving with glasses wouldn't be recommended for me.

Had bad luck with Accuview Oasis or whatever. Made my eyes dry out. Much prefer O2 Optics.

Also its possible that they didnt measure your eyes right and the lens isnt fitted properly.

when i got my lenses, i had to go to a proper eye doctor to measure my sight etc. If you had them measured at the store itself, you may wanna go to a doctor aswell, they usually know a lot better what they are doing lol.

When I had my contact lenses, they almost cost me aboyt $600 a year, had different powers in both eyes AND prices of contact lenses automatically double for me because I had crazy Astigmatism...

I had hard time learning how to put them on and take them out too, first two weeks were the worst, spent 30 minutes in the morning and at night...but somehow after I got really drunk, I took them out right away Razz no idea how.

But I only used contacts for 1-2 weeks like it said on the box, or when I felt uncomfortable I throw them out for new pair.

I decided to get Lasik, figured if I were to keep using contact lenses for next 20 years...might as well get Lasik done now, and don't spent anymore money.

Contact lenses are fun but Lasik is a better choice.

I don't know where you read that, but it's not true. Laser eye surgery is considered to be semi-permanent - the only "wearing off" comes from the natural degradation of your eyes as you age. According to most statistics, 95% of people only ever need one treatment and it's done for life, with the usual exception of ageing of course, and even if you ARE in that minuscule 5% -- the regression or "wearing off" is never to such extremes that your eyes go back to how they used to be.

I'd love to have the treatment but the current price is off the friggin' hook grinhurt Decent surgeries, and not the super cheapo crap, can run £2-3k per eye Crying or Very sad Even the "super cheapo crap" is £900 per eye.

~edit~
