Maybe it just scales poorly now instead of not at all?
Unsure how multi-GPU friendly the game engine is but it might be a challenge as Nvidia apparently doesn't have anything either but you can use the Prototype 1 SLI flags there to work around the issue somewhat.
Are you using a 12.7 based driver?

Still on 12.6 with 12.7 cap 1.
Should i update, or maybe rename it to prototype 1 exe, see if that fixes some things (altho it's running quite ok on one card, sometimes drops to 50ish, but not horrible fps like before)

Hi,
I have a question regarding the graphics engine:
Is this a DirectX 9 game or does it require DirectX 10/11 (Vista/7) to run?
Or does it support both? (DirectX 11 with better graphics and enhanced features maybe?)

There is a misison where u need to prevent blackwatch from releasing monstyers into the genpop.
This is where u get your claws weapon
Im at the stage where im supposed to kill blackwatch soldiers attacking me preferably using special attack with claws. I killed all of them but the mission isnt updated...
Did anyone have it?

L2read, it's on the prev page. had same problem.
Set the game to 1 core during that mission and back to all after.

Well, mr l2read, i did that and it didnt work at all. Tried several times.
Still looking for a solution

It didnt work for other people as well.(read steamforums)
After5 tries im done.id better watch some movies lol and when the fix if there il give it another go

Good game, pretty much an improved Prototype 1. The city is done much better, which is a big plus for me. Runs good With HD5850, though I did only play an hour.

You need to ask yourself why you stopped playing prototype in the first place.

I got bored. But I do remember it being fun. Maybe when and if I'm bored enough, I'll give it a try, or maybe I'll just replay the first.

It's weird how some of the textures (the blackwatch grunt texture for example) are much worse than some of the others. Kinda sticks out, but it's a mindless fun game anyway - just flying around the city alone is so satisfying.

it's not working that trainer on gamecopyworld...i start the game, then i open the trainer then in loading nothing's happend..if somebody know's aonther trainer ppls leave a comm...thx

460 1gb, I7 and 8 gigs of ram, game runs anywhere from 40 to 100 fps. (Avg around 50) mouse does feel weird tho, may try it with a pad (that defeats the point tho) only played half an hour or so. Textures are fucking horrendous.

The LinGon trainer is for the Steam version and might perhaps not work with the modified exe file Fairlight has created even if Fairlight's release itself might be the Steam version of the game.
(I think the game uses Steamworks.)
Otherwise if it's a issue with the trainer then start the game and make sure it's fully started up (You are in the actual game and playing.) then alt-tab and activate the trainer and then the options you want from there.
(Don't forget to press the activate button if the trainer uses such a thing or it won't work at all.)

Anyway, DLing now! It seems to run absolutely fine on 6-series nV cards, so hopefully that extends to 5-series too.
