| Code: | | Although Radical Entertainment is no more, Prototype 2 PC will see the light of day and we are happy to report today that the game is available for pre-purchase on Steam. Those of you who decide to pre-order it will receive the RADNET DLC – which includes new missions, events and powers for Prototype 2 – and a copy of Prototype to play now for free. Pretty nice deal, right? Prototype 2 PC is scheduled for a July 26th release. Enjoy! |

Anybody pre-loading noticed that there is no English audio file?
I see only audio_german.rcf ... :s

Is your Steam settings in German?
I know you can set individual preferences per-game but I don't think that works for pre-loads unfortunately so you get whatever default Steam is set to, I guess.

my steam is set to english - always has been - yet I've also received the german audio file... D:

I thought it was just a Steam title but apparently there's a retail version as well unless that's also bound by Steam, if so there won't be anything until the ~27th when the decryption keys become available (~ as sometimes they become available earlier.) and the game files can be decrypted, no doubt there's a day-1 update or such as well but actually didn't the developers go out of business since Activision wasn't sure about the franchise?
(Unsure if they've done anything special to the PC version or if it was just released as-is, unsure how much the developers had done before they were removed, probably the game was quite ready and just awaiting the word from Activision whom published it.)

If it's on Usetnet or such then sure but if it's from their own website you're probably over estimating their P2P capabilities, it was pretty fast but there's thousands of downloaders now so things have slowed down so it'll take about a hour or so longer before it finishes here.

I just went past tpb not a place I normally frequent so am unable to say if the skidrow release of proto 2 that has gone up there is genuine. It does have an nfo of sorts.
