After driver update it is 50 fps on average (40-60), a bit better. I have all graphic options on high, 1920 x 1080 resolution. I am not complaining, the 560 Ti is just a midrange card.
Pet AI has been improved, good.
Edit: Oh wait, had graphics on balanced switched to best appearance now, average fps drops by 10.

Typical, last beta crossfire worked flawless (atleast according to afterburner data), but now it actually runs worse with crossfire on, plus if it's on, it only scales 99%/50% -.-

Probably been posted before, but just preorder from amazon if yuo want a beta key. You'll get a key in 5 minutes and you wont be charged till the game ships.

Just started playing getting a whoopin 10-15 fps almost everywhere(20-30 if there are not many players around),tried adjusting the settings but nothing makes a difference, i dont think my Pc is that bad either:
i5 2500k
GTX 570
8GB RAM
Win7 Pro 64-Bit
Im rly worried at this time dont think the game will be optimized enough to be playable this close to release and large scale pvp should be almost impossible with this performance. was the game performance always this bad?

The game is playable in PvE, but not optimized for WvWvW/Big pve events/cities with lots of people :/

Yeah but thats what the game is about^^ So we need supercomputers from the NASA to play this large scale events? This is just redicolous i know everyone says they are still optomizing it to release blabla but i heard this stuff so many times and it just never happens what we see now is what we will get thats for sure.

That's exactly the same system I'm running.. my i5 2500k @4.4 GHz.. everything else default clock speeds. In the last beta, I was getting 40+ or so FPS. But honestly, you should be able to run 1920x1080 on damn near max. I'm betting most of the lag is related to the server/network load as well as them running the game in debug mode. I'm expecting it to improve over time. I don't mind turning some graphic options down a bit, but most every game I run at or near max. Granted, this system is not as beefy as it was a year or so ago when I built mine, but it's still got plenty of power to run anything out quite well.

@tet666: Hmm dunno why your fps is so low. With best performance selected I have a fps over 100 (150 even sometimes). My hardware is comparable to yours i7 2k6 at 4M4 Hz, 560 Ti slightly overclocked.

Well, they fixed some camera issues but the annoying mouse smoothing remains.
That aside, I'm sold. The two new races and their areas are awesome.

Played for those 4 hours with Thief and Engineer and don't really see myself buying it day one. Perforamnce should be better, dynamic event are basically devoided of any story, some animations are lousy, I see nothing that makes this game groundbreaking in any respect. I like the scale of the world, I like how they encourage players to explore it, I love Charr race.
I might buy it if they improve performance when more than 10ppl are on screen, if not they're not getting my money. It's quite clear this game is designed around dynamic event with lots of people (hey, it's mmo in the end, right?) so this part of the engine must be top notch. Right now it's far from it.

Hmm whats strange is i even get only 20-30 fps in the solo story instances, tried lowest possible and highest settings and it doesnt make any difference game also doesnt seem to use my gpu very mutch usually around 0-10 % highest usage i saw was around 33%. I have an old ati5800 lying around might try it tommorow maybe it does make a difference.

Ok, after couple of hours with GW 2 im sure i will not play it, didnt saw anything that could make me stay longer than day maybe week, so not worth my money.
For me its not better than any other MMO that were released past couple months, but propably many people will have great time playing it and have fun.
But can say good thing too, didnt had any performance problems, old engine ?
