i downloaded it through steam
steam gives me a key
i register that key on the EA site, using my EA account
i start dragon age origins, log in with my EA account, and the DLC is unlocked.
its a minor annoyance but no big deal.

Can someone tell me which game is not available in my country..
I mean, the current Community's choice game is not available, but i want to know which one is it?
Also, in the daily deal, i can see:
Total War
Thief
Sins of a Solar Empire
Stalker
Super Meatboy
LA Noire
Carpe Fulgur
Indie Bundle VII
And, also, the last game in the flash sales row?
I can see DA, Tiny Big and BitTrip thingy..

Uh, no thanks. I ain't going to register and login with some EA bullshit, might as well stick with the ISO demo then. But when did you do that, I'm reading with patch 1.05 the DLC activates automatically. So can anyone else weigh in on my previous question:

You have to activate the DLC regardless of whether you bought it as part of the Ultimate edition or separately for the original version. Unless the patch notes explicitly say otherwise, I don't imagine that has changed. This is what it says on the patch page:
Dragon Age: Origins 1.05
General Fixes
DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT
Downloadable content will properly authenticate once installed.
PERFORMANCE
Fixed an issue where some users with DirectX10-era video cards were experiencing significant lag within menus and interfaces as well as sudden spikes in area load times.
Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition Fixes
INSTALLATION
The Ultimate Edition installer for the EA Download Manager (EADM) version of the game was placing the CD-Key in the wrong location in the Windows registry. EADM has been replaced with EA's Origin system and this error has been corrected in the new Origin installer. For those who purchased and installed the Ultimate Edition via EADM, the Patch 1.05 installer will copy that CD-Key into the correct Windows registry location.
To me that says it still has to get online and authenticate. It just fixes that bug that prevented that happening.
