During recent years I've become a gorilla hair wise and just now i waxed my back so that i don't look like a jungle during my incoming Turkey visit. To my surprise it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. Didn't scream once. Sure i wanted to once or twice, but that was it.

Just felt i should inform you all of this.

That would be way too expensive.

And i'm most certainly not denying my manliness. Where the heck do you get that from? removed some hair from my back cause it looks pretty ugly. Still loaded with hair on my belly, which is going nowhere.

ive started doing laser treatment on my back and arms because of my furry body. Its almost as bad as Robin Williams.
I remember the second treatment was painfull as hell, my whole body shook and I just wanted to get up and knock the chick out doing the treatment.

I've contemplated this myself. Is it similar or the same thing as electrolysis?

As for people that don't have it but are knocking it, it can be quite uncomfortable during hot weather. Overall, it just feels better. The chest and belly hair isn't going anywhere here either.

I look like Tom Selleck Cool Face

Dont know, the place I go to uses a new method called IPL which uses lasers to burn the root of the hairsack. Its very painful so you need to apply some numbing cream to the area, im gonna use more cream this time so hopefully it'll be bareable.

Also going for the Tom Selleck look, thats one hunky guy right there. Just need to grow an epic 80's stach...

Hmm some of my thoughts. You can't really decide at birth if you are going to be a hairy guy or girl. So you grow up and will notice what mother nature decided for you. If you have hairs in places -- As people grow older (guys and girls) we lose hairs in places where we want to have them and get hairs in places where we don't want them. -- and you kinda dislike it, better look for more long term solutions. Pulling hairs out will cause these hairs to grow faster and become thicker. Lasering the skin could be a option.

Wont pay for an expensive treatment for a week in Turkey. If i was an active dater or some such or really hated my back hair, i would do it. I don't hate it, i just know it's not attractive at all.

False. Pulling out hair more likely leads to damaging of the follicles, or if you pull the entire thing out with the blood supply and muscle you could likely make the regrowth stop completely. There has been research done on some people diagnosed with "trichotillomania" (basically manically pulling hair out) where the repeated pulling out of hairs lead to permanent hair loss in the affected areas.

The whole notion of hair growing back thicker is a simple myth.

Perhaps if you pull hairs out, some hair follicles will stop growing new hairs and others will continue. I have a mild form of trichotillomania. I just concentrate on hairs I don't want to have. Either the place and also these days, a hair too thick. In 2007 I noticed one hair of my right eyebrow really felt rough (thick). Tried to pull it out and lost 1/3 of the eyebrow hairs there. Laughing Laughing about it is better I guess. The hair did grow back and I repeatedly pulled it out together with many others. Speaking about defacing yourself. At the moment it is gone and the eyebrow is growing back slowly.

My scalp hair. At young age it was really, really thin. As any other person, I lose hairs. As I grew older many hairs became thicker. I still have hairs so thin, if you drop them from some height, they rotate real slowly to the ground.
