I don't really want to make a BF4 thread because I can't be arsed with templates, so this is more of a one-off news type thing

Quote:
A Battlefield 4 beta was confirmed on EA's Origin store today when a listing for Medal of Honor Warfighter pre-orders came with the offer of exclusive access to the beta.

The game has not been officially confirmed by EA, but its mention in the US EA Origin store suggests that the game is currently in the works.

A-fucking-mazing. Buy a shithouse game to get access to a good one It should have been apart of premium IIIMMMOOOO

Well if they are gonna handle it like they did the BF3 beta (for buying the previous MoH), you are just gonna get a couple of days of early access anyway. This is so far off there is just no way of knowing what you will get out of it.

Good point on the premium, but EA is more keen on making you buy more of their stuff rather than actually rewarding the dedicated fanbase Smile
Although I suspect there will be premium access as well... a couple of days later.

Thanks for posting the rumors but I doubt they will end up being legit. After the fiasco for the poor MoH owners with the two-day only early BF3 beta (which I also enjoyed without the need of buying MoH but by pre-ordering BF3 Limited on Origin) I doubt people would fall for that trap again Very Happy

Also, I'm really hoping next game will be BF2143. Apparently DICE's General Manager hinted at it recently.

I don't trust that site. Can you vouch for them?

Also, I can't see anything about a BF4 beta in my Origin Store page for MoH2.

If it shows on Origin, then there's nothing more to say. Though I'm not in US, so maybe that's why.

I would be very disappointed if it's confirmed though :\

It will get released no sooner than fall 2013. Pretty much how it was with BC2 to BF3, I think. Not sure why anyone's so surprised that there will be another Battlefield...

It's not that they make another Battlefield. It's just that it wouldn't be long enough after the last announced DLC for BF3 which comes out in March 2013. They said themselves they wouldn't be releasing one game after another just like the COD series. If they do, then it better be a really big improvement over BF3 (both graphics and gameplay wise) or else I won't be buying it and will most likely stay with Planetside 2 (release in 2013).

This makes total sense though, first they get your money with their premium thingie and then even before they release their last DLC they release their new game. Now they can get your money from there as well since there's no conflict because you've already paid for the DLC a year ago...

PROFIT!

Well, surprise surprise, they won't get my money for a BF3-clone renamed BF4 in 2013 Twisted Evil
