Roy Lee, executive producer of The Departed, and Adrian Askarieh - a film producer who's landed other Eidos/Square Enix film rights - are linked to the movie as producers.
CBS Films bods John P. Middleton (not sure who he is), Maria Faillace and Alex Gino will oversee the project.
Question is, who will play the game's hero, Adam Jensen? |

Hmm. I'm not sure how I feel about this at the moment, so I'll wait and see some footage and plot info first. DX's biggest draw is the freedom it offers players, freedom to accomplish tasks their own way, not just the story. Making a movie out of it would strip away half the reason DX is so loved... so yeah, I'll wait and see.

The Deus Ex universe can make a great movie, though using actual characters from the game is a bit dangerous. Hollywood should learn that while some games have great universes perfectly suitable for a great movie, you should stray as far as possible from the actual game. There's just no way to please the fans since a game is about personal experience.

If they're doing it with Adam Jensen as the protagonist, they should just get Elias.
