you need a newsnet server you can connect to. either your isp has one you can use or you need to buy yourself into one of the big commercial providers.
jesus christ was a gangsta rapper. they killed him. he came back and made a platinum album.

Thanks! And the authentication? Do you get it together with the server, or is it just an e-mail account you have to fill in? Sorry for all the dumb questions. If somebody only could give me full info about that page so I can really understand it all. Also, thank you for the reply toeffy!

ok i use newsbin pro.... this is the way i set it up....
open it
server name = anything you want.. i just use e
next (ok)
next (ignore the list)
finish
at the top of the page there's a row of buttons, load save start stop pause.... click the one saying server
a server add/modify box will come up. server name .. u can leave as "e" server address you can get from.. http://www.usenettools.net/ISP.htm or you can try googling your isp.. i.e. "bell newsserver address" usually a FAQ on ur isp's website will have this. if you have a premium account see... http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12242
anyway since its through ur ISP 99/100 the chances are u wont need a login or pass so just untick the box and click apply.
from there on you can click the groups icon and "download groups" if it doesnt connect something is wrong with the server / login so just go through these steps ^ and read ur ISPs website (if using that) if u use a premium service it's all straight forward neway with account details given.

I've done everything you said, but when i'm going to download the groups, it says "Connection to server failed during downloading groups - Look in status tab for details". I looked in the status tab and I saw that somewhere it said "Unable to find servers adress". What should I do? Do I have to login or something? I chose "news1.news.adelphia.net" from the list (you sent me that link) and it says you don't have to use email and a password. Then it should work...

Sublime, I don't have any of those IPS. Is there a site that shows swedish ISP?

Thank you for all the help. But it didn't work. I'll maybe just wait for some Swede with the same ISP to come and help me.
