Graduating tomorrow with a 2:1 in History, yaaaaaay, one final party tomorrow night then....the void, the darkness of life after uni. I have friends that graduated last year with degrees in law and psychology and the likes and they can't seem to get a job anywhere, so i'm worried that with a general degree like History it's going to be even harder . Any tips or suggestions from people on what i should do next?
Some brainstorming:
1. You need a suit with a big M on it.
2. Start suing and make loads of money. Oh wait you studied history not law. Write history and publish.
3. Teaching job?
I don't think it's that hard as long as you're able to adapt your skills, you can be a teacher, archivist, researcher, journalist.. without forgetting politics!*
*dishonesty and greediness are required distinctive features, though
