As much as I agree, why don't we see a similar article about DICE not giving a fuck about some of the bugs and lack of balance between weapons (M16A3, anyone?) that still persist or their late fixes (m26mass went what, 3 months without being unpatched?).
But what else to expect from euroderp...

The F2000 is a monster for close and medium distances. I never used it till I did recently in order to get one of the assingments requiring certain number of kills with it. I haven't used it since though, as I felt to be cheating or at least having unfair advantage.

Oh but this "not using that weapon because it's OP" only applies to the Assault class, if I'm playing as an engineer I'll sure as hell use either the M4 or the ACW-R

Yeah, I'm using AUG and AK-74M when assault atm. When I'm engy I alternate between ACW-R and MTAR, they are good weapons but I don't feel they're OP. For Support I use M27 and RPK almost exclusively, cause I'm the mobile kind, I can't stand camping with a bigger LMG (I never use bipods).
Well IMO the ACW-R is overpowered because I only tend to use it at medium-long, with pretty much no recoil and dead on accuracy with the PK-A + Heavy Barrel + Foregrip and I usually get ~20-22% accuracy at the end of the match
Never had that happening with any other weapon in the game so far
But it definitely is weak at a close range so I guess that that takes of a bit of it's edge.

Hmmm interesting, I rarely attach grip or heavy barrel to a weapon since one of the latest patches. I will have to try that. Yeah, the ACW-R has very low recoil which is what makes it very attractive, it's very good at medium/long like you said but I think the fact it's sort of "weak" at close ranges compensates for that (like you said). At first I found myself with an empty clip too soon but I've made the necessary adjustments and it happens now rarely.

Yeah I never used the heavy barrel before but I noticed that using the ACW with ANY scope had a terrible effect on the accuracy.
Gave it a go and it's a HUGE difference with a very low cost recoil wise.

Yes, but people will adjust and the gun will become OP. I really don't feel this recoil at long range you talking about. With HB and grip it feels like M16 in my hands.

The F2000 is already OP, just not as much on long range as the M16 (IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO... ).
But you should try both with a scope and see the difference.
Although... most people only use it with the RDS/Holo so my argument is mostly shot down and meh
