Thanks but gave up on this game. Been playing secret world instead. At least those quests are meant to stump you.

4 campaign maps (quite big, though). I call it a DLC. Still ends in a cliffhanger. No importing your character from the previous two titles (Shadow Wars and Dragon Storm). Can't choose a female character like in the previous titles. Not a bad story and a good music.

Hope it helps, mate.

My opinion: give it a try. The gameplay it's still better than what i've seen in the last couple of years.

Aonir’s light shines upon you with the new DLC “Flink’s Secret Diary”

We are pleased to announce that, over the next three months, we will be releasing three episodic DLC packages with a season pass option for the critically acclaimed SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny on PC.

The first enthralling DLC released today is “Flink’s Secret Diary”, exploring the thrilling and humorous story of thief Flink McWinter. Providing approximately four hours of additional gameplay, players will take on the role of the famous thief and scoundrel who has been set the seemingly impossible task of recovering Order Master Matricus’s stolen Fire Ledger. Set in a world full of orcs, barbarians and thieves, players will also meet Flink's mother, drink wine, meet women and enjoy music.

Each set before Faith in Destiny, the DLC delves further into the mysterious worlds past. For the first time these three DLCs will allow people to play as one of the non-playable characters from the original story, rather than as the hero himself for a new twist in the tale.

“Flink’s Secret Diary” is out now priced USD 3.99, EUR 3.99, and £3.49. The second and third scenario-packages will be available to buy on January 18th 2013 and February 15th 2013 respectively and will also be priced individually at USD 3.99, EUR 3.99, and £3.49. However those who are looking for a Christmas bargain can purchase the DLC season pass to receive all three for just USD 9.99 EUR 9.99, and £8.99.

Acquired by electronic Arts in 2006, Germany based Phenomic, known for Spellforce, Battleforge and most recently C&C: Tiberium Alliances, has been shut down and all 60 employees have been sent packing.

Electronic Arts issued the following statement:

As part of EA's realignment in recent weeks, we have announced internally a small adjustment to some development staff to better focus our teams against priority growth areas. The decision to let people go is not something we take lightly and we are working to ensure that impacted employees are treated fairly and with respect for their contributions to EA, and with assistance to find other job opportunities. These are hard but essential changes as we focus on delivering great games and showing players around the world why to spend their time with us.

Phenomic was founded in 1997 by Blue Byte Software's Volker Wertich, who had been heading The Settlers franchise.

Scumbag EA...WHY THE FUCKING FUCK did they buy the studio if they didn't let them do ANY goddamn games, aside from a crappy f2p browser game.

Hope they get picked up by Nordic, or form another studio and do something ...I want another Spellforce, damn it!

Spellforce IP is owned by Nordic, but the heart of the story lay with Phenomic devs. That's why Faith in Destiny is mediocre at best.
