I just posted this thread, so plz no shit about details....

"In Pirates! you take the leading role of a Pirate Captain in the 17th century Caribbean amassing fortune and fame in an attempt to seize your rightful place as one of the most revered (and feared!) pirates in history. Test your skills as a sea captain exploring the high seas and exotic ports in a richly detailed 3D world. Overtake the enemy and seize valuable booty"

Live the life of a pirate. Sail around the Caribbean, building your reputation and your fleet as you raid merchants and ports, search for buried treasure, and gain influence with colonial powers through your swashbuckling and bravery.

All the gameplay of the original... Ship-to-ship combat, sword fights, and land battles will all be familiar to fans of the original game.

...but updated for today's gamers... With multiple quests in an open-ended storyline, improved graphics and models, and new challenges such as sneaking into and out of town and dancing with the governor's daughter, this classic adventure gets a modern face-lift.

...with new Xbox features. Support for Xbox Live includes online high scores, downloadable content, and special Xbox-only multiplayer modes such as head-to-head ship battles and sword-fighting.

Just press the back button to give a list of the controls.
What i find hard is steering the ship so i could get a good line of sight to fire. but the game itself seems very interesting.

but you know what Chinese whispers are like; some newbie will read your comment and suddenly run and spread it all over the internet that the new 2010 Banwave disables all your XBLA games when you're banned.

well ive read all the reviews and most are over 9/10, so i give it 45 minutes game time, but i just dont like it i find it boring and samey, or am i wrong and need to play some more? for now it is confined to the wont get into my xbox again pile Sad dont understand what all the good reviews are seeing that i am missing.

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.
