Our two lovely sweet jack russell dogs were just fucking attacked by a huge lab or something that came running out of a house!!!!! My dad got his hand between them but not before it got a hold of Tulle(our female)'s backside and clenched down..She has a huge gash and my dad has had a finger nail ripped off his hand!!!
holy shit..Never experienced this..my family has been hit by some fucking devastating things lately and this is just another fucking knife in the wound...my parents are on their way to the animal hospital now..fuck fuck fuck fuck

Yea it was in our own neighborhood and we saw the house it came out of. The owners were standing in the door talking. We have already called the police

I wouldn't know how i would react when something like that would happen to my dog, but one thing i know for sure: That i will get my revenge on the owner and the dog.

It's pretty much never the dogs fault. You can't blame an animal for acting like an animal.

Regardless whose fault it is, an animal like that shouldnt be kept in a residential area. It needs to be put down. I wouldnt hesitate if I ever had a dog that would so such a thing.

It maybe isn't the dogs fault, but should such an animal be kept around? So it can happen again with other people (or even worse with your dog again)?
It's easy to speak when you are not the victim, but i know that I would go into full rage on both the owner and his dog.

But the dog might not be an aggressive dog. For example.. The dog sees your Jack Russells and things he can play with them, he comes running up and your dog growls, he then takes it as if your dog is going to attack and then bites your dog.
The fault is definitely with the owner in this case, for not having his dog under control.

Man this discussion is MUTE. You were not there. The dog ran out, glamming, and immediately went for our dogs. Their other dog was on the way to do the same but they managed to stop that one. I dont care if its not an agressive dog? It is now, aint it?!?

Well he does have a point, try to turn the roles around.
Your dog escapes you, and gets attacked by the dogs there and attacks back.
Yet, you left your dog out of your sight and it escapped, so your fault.
Would you blame it on yourself then aswell?
It's kinda hard to think on both sides here as personal feelings are involved.
I hope that my dog never experiences aggression, makes it alot easier.

If my dog ever bit another dog, Id have no qualms about putting it down. None.

My Shar-Pei had to be put to sleep when she was 3 years old due to HD.
I still miss her every day.
