Only good games since first Halo were Reach and ODST. Still nothing mind blowing

I find first Halo (played anniversary recently) to be quite hard. Even on medium:P Is it me or what?

I get where you're coming from. Played the first Halo on PC @ the time they released that port (god, that such a long time ago!) and did not enjoyed it too much. And considering the FPS games that were coming out/available at that time, Halo looked and felt inferior in more ways than one.
And add to that the whole Halo fanfare, witch I never understood, and that made me dislike the games more.
However, since I have my x360 I did play all the Halo games - even went back to the PC to paly Halo 2 - and I have to say they're more enjoyable on a console; actually it has more do to with the peripheral used, in this case the gamepad, than the platform itself.
The Halo games are great played with a controller (the x360 one especially), and really fun in Firefight coop.
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Halo: Anniversary!
But I would not enjoy them as much on a PC playing them like normal FPS (with MnK). In that scenario I would much rather play something like STALKER and though I would not pass on the option to play a STALKER game on a console, I understand why some people would trade that experience for a Halo game
That said, I am interested to see what 343 does with the franchise. I hope they evolve the gameplay as I always had the impression that playing as a spartan should look like crysis, gameplay wise.
And for god's sake I hope they add a sprint this time, and not make it an ability you have to chose over something else.
I have played all the Halo games, but really didnt like the first part. Looking back, that suprises me since that was the only one I played on the PC, which is my preferred platform for gaming.
Its cool being able to play 4 player split screen online. I just can't stand the controls... but ofc hardcore halo fans might say the same about COD games
But every other shooter adapts COD controls... nuff said And to me halo have always been a little to cartoonish somehow :/
Halo 6 will be epic ,,, oh wait they call it 4 now
What about Halo Derps err I mean Halo Wars?
its not a fps its a RTS on xbox that is the prequel to halo reach [ the paradox is reach was the prequel to Halo 1 that tells the story about a group of spartans delivers the Main AI that girl AI to the Pillar of Athum or what ever is called ] and tells the story why covenant fights humans ... epic game for a rts made on consoles , could not believe how good it was
On PC Halo Wars would have been a mediocre RTS at best, just as Halo felt like a mediocre FPS at best.
I think they wanted to make Halo Wars for RTS games on consoles, what Halo was for FPS games on consoles. And they kinda did it to a certain extent, just that people don't want to play RTS games on a console; if you like RTS games chances are you have a modern PC and a wider/better range of RTS titles to chose from.

aye thats the sad thing .... just see how good it is and to top it off it has a better story line then Starcraft 2
