I know exactly what you mean. I thought it was a problem at my end. Looks like it might be something more widespread. Do you also use Firefox?

1 and 2 are still amazing.

Just checked it out. When I posted a message, it showed the green icon on the sub forum where I posted on FF but on Chrome it didn't happen at all. Damn Firefox.

Maybe it's just me but... I find it annyoing that "newest post" in front of the thread always directs to first new post since my last login. What I mean, is:
- I read posts in one thread, move to next one
- someone post something new to my first read thread, forums shows a new post.
- when I hit view "newest post" it directs me to the newest post I read the first time

It could be a bit difficult to follow but I hope you understand what I mean Smile

Yes. phpBB works like that. The button does say 'new posts from last visit', in visit meaning the last time you left the page and closed the browser window. In your case you havent left yet, you lurk. Lurking functionality isnt one of the features available Smile

Jumping ship to another browser wont help since the server takes care of the time tracking and all. It has nothing to do with browsers or cookies.

Hope this clears it up.

What's the fucking point, ALL websites have these cookies anyway, it's not like they are going to change that.

Ah think i know what it was.

Your trigger-fingers were the doom of you blocked-posters. The time was wrong on your posts and after i fixed the server's time the board thought the flood time limit for ya'all hasnt passed yet.

Since i fixed the timelapsed posts its all fine again.

Weeeee...now to bed!
