...I'm guessing PS3 anyway. No platforms have been announced. Not much else has either, apart from confirmation. Kojima says he isn't actually done with Solid Snake at all, yet.

Kojima also touched upon Metal Gear Rising, reiterating that it is not a Solid Snake title, but rather an offshoot that does something new.
“Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance never claimed to be a Metal Gear Solid. This is not a game about our beloved Solid Snake. It is a spinoff that tries something different. We have not yet finished with Solid Snake, despite the fact that I wanted to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots.” |

These were also tweeted by Kojima, and apparently are from a different project, kinda strange he has an eye patch (or Solid Eye) on though.

This is awesome if true.
However i wonder where they will go with the story since it will be hard to bring back Snake after how MGS 4 ended. My guess is that it will probabkly be a prequel or an in between game (IE l Set between Solid 2 and 4).
