I've gotta sort out where my PC is. In the evenings its like 30c upstairs now... I sat down to play and after 10 mins I had to log.
Cant handle the heat Will move it into an airconditioned room so I am more comfortable and less stressed
yeah its insane here in croatia as well. today is the first kind of comfortable day in a week. my ac has been on 4 days straight pretty much.
anyways, pic of my adventures in electro with the DMR. the feeling of sniping the little nublets and watching them try to run if i miss one shot is irreplacable
from 2 to 7 murders in 1 hours on a full server

Man I just can't find anyone when I play either
I was on a full server in that tower where most of the action seems to take place and didnt find any weapons and no survivors around either. I guess I'm picking the wrong servers.
I play in the evening but I hate how all the EU servers seem to be GMT based, I want to play during the daylight to start with, not in the middle of the fecking night

a lot of EU servers are daytime at night, put de in filter instead of dayz. 90% of german server are daytime at night.
I only play in daytime servers as well, the night is just stupidly dark.
nightime servers are usually the ones with low population. sub 30
Yeah night time is stupid dark. Even with a dark moon out it's still lighter outside at night time then this game is. With a full moon you can easily see for quite a distance.
Finally I am enjoying this game! I just respawned as usual because I got killed by some zombies and this time I saw a dude taking a boat, but he didn't see me (sad panda )
So I just start walking and suddenly I see the same dude again and I try to make contact with him...luckily he's friendly but I expected that because he was unarmed so he had nothing to lose.
We started to walk with each other and checked some houses, but only shitty empty cans, but we came near a gas station and we saw another guy. Unarmed and with standard gear we had nothing to lose so we approached him and it seems he had a gun, but he wasn't moving at all. We tried to make contact but he didn't reply, so I check his bag/inventory and I see he has a hachet and a Makarov and I grabbed it from him. I didn't know that was possible lol. Then the guy, I was moving with, asked me if I can give him the axe so he can defend himself...I thought ''Okay, why not. If you hit me I'll shoot you down''. But the weird thing was...I go to my inventory, press the axe, click drop and it's gone...and by gone I mean nowhere to be found. Not even on the ground. Is that a bug?
Anyhow, finally armed we wanted to take some risk so we entered a city, crawling of course and we went into a house and found some soda and some canned food. But suddenly the guy was spotted and I would say at least 4 zombies entered the building and I started shooting with my Makarov...and we survived. The only thing that was left was my sweaty ass. We went to a hilltop to call it a day and to be a happy camper, this time with supplies
after 20 sniper kills in electro, and 275 zombie kills, i met my doom.
i was running up the hill after gutting a pig so i could start a fire and replenish hp. when out of the blue i see two guys prone. i pull out my g17 and start strafing and kill 1. the other starts wildly sooting, makes my screen shake, so i keep missing and he kills me
Now i hope my car is still on the other server so i can resupply there and get to the airport quickly for good loot.
I had an awesome time today.
Just started a fresh game and it was really tough going till i found my first axe and then an enfield.
With less than 6k health had to make my way to cherno and ambushed some guy in a gillie suit. Felt bad about it afterwards cause he only had a crappy shotgun with no ammo and a zombie after him at the time
He must've felt really lucky finding that suit early game and there I go ruining his day
Shortly after found my first bicycle just abonded in the field north of cherno and lemme just say
Topped it at 74 km/h and rode it to stary sobor, berezno, NE airfield and back the same route. Just ran to the army tents and behold two freshly dead players in the middle who prolly shot each other. Well their loss is my gain and now I'm a proud owner of an as50 anti-material rifle
Lost connection shortly after so now all I have to do is find some ammo for my new toy and let the party begin
You will see that your visibility is up to 3 bars at day when you are croched and as low as 1 bar when it is dark, so darkness automatically reduces your visibility -> Yes, it is harder for zombies to spot you and keep track of you.
Just got my first player kill at a castle as well. Was the castle 'Zub'. Had almost no food and water, but had that decent lever action 12 guage. I was at the top of the castle, and he was coming up the stairs. Shot him twice, and stole all his shit. Had an alice pack full of bloodbags, and all sorts of other shit. Made out well on that.
