how play game in windowed mode ?? i tried shortcut -w or -windowed.. i try in .cfg file fullscreen False... nothing work ?? how to play in window mode??

Tried it for a bit, might work as a TPS game, which doesn't mean tactical personal shooter this time. Razz

Some tweaks to the file system, also have AA (FXAA) disabled in favor of SMAA, need to go through the other shader files eventually but for now I only checked two of them.



























EDIT: Yes, W7 SP1 (900~ hotfixes) x64 OS. Razz

Game is fun so far better than I expected, but with all the HUD stuff of its a bit distracting. Interestingly enough i found the mouse was rather laggy with Vsync on, turned it off and its much smoother, running DX11 mode with everything max runs really well. Pity no LAN mode though Sad

(Game uses DX10 and DX11, DX9 will be added in a patch they call "XP" - which let's the game support WinXP as well then - as I understood it.)

At launch, most DirectX 10 cards will work.
We know that a few of them (2600 and 3600 series from AMD) won't work properly - this will be fixed in the patch.

The XP patch will come shortly after release - no precise date to announce yet but should be max 3 weeks after release. As soon as I have a precise date, I'll share it with you.

They claim to use tactics and such but it's often smaller scripted events and you're forced to do things in a certain order such as tossing those annoying scan sensors into all sorts of places (Just how many did they give you?) and it usually boils down to action sequences where you kill everyone in one way or another, usually with the team doing most of the work if you try to play more carefully.

Can shoot through cover and such but that's nothing new at all and you can customize your weapons somewhat but I didn't find anything interesting there either.

It works as a third person squad shooter but it's quite restrictive and linear as well, Advanced Warfighter had some of this but did leave a lot up to the player whereas here the game decides much of what you can do and where you can go.
(Unsure how to best explain it.)

That said the early levels might be meant as interactive tutorials as well and maybe it'll improve later on but the first impressions you get from the game isn't that good this way.
(Or maybe this is exactly what the target audience - whomever those are - actually wants.)

If by tactics you mean shoot the first guy and camp until your team does the rest. Yes! Its the king of tactics games. Cool Face

MP feature is disabled in offline mode and i didn't saw coop campaign in story menu. There is one feature called "Guerilla" but didn't saw connect option. So i guess no coop for this one with warez version.

It doesn't seem to work with multi screen setups at all, I set the res in options to mine which is 5960x1080 but just the middle screen displays the game, anyone else tried a multi screen setup with it?

(mine is eyefinity)

Same old boring story. According to Beckman's pics, the action again is in one of those poor villages on middle east, africa or ....whatever. Insurgents with AK47s, RPGs etc. Sad

You can always force windowed mode when you know how to code Very Happy I usually run most of my applications in windowed mode + remove borders + auto resolution Smile

Tried it briefly and it's a no go. Either the promised multimonitor support was botched or there is a gimmick to it.

yes and rest of the files copy to tom clancy's ghost recon future soldier folder click exe and nothing Sad


edit: copy the contents inside the crack orbit folder into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher and rest of the files no and works! thanks for the info werewolf07 Very Happy

This results in lower performance because your card doesn't reach maximum clock speed and you still draw AERO and the rest of the desktop window manager. What's the point.

The game just does not start for me. I put all the files into the install folder and the orbit files in the ubisoft game launcher file. It doesn't crash or anything, I just see see a quick update window and after that nothing happens Confused
