D3 is the biggest disappointment of the decade for me and this has struck me very, very hard. And it's not even the online restriction, the combat (which I like very much) or the character customization. It's just the loot and how it affects Inferno/Endgame (it almost doesn't.. Inferno is just ridiculous... not challenging... purely demented.. stupid and pointless).
The feeling that my character is getting stronger with every treasure you're finding is just gone. Oh, and ofc the Legendaries. Yes... I liked them Uniques which came with LoD (I count Runeword items as uniques too).. some didn't but I surely did. It's just maddening if you're so extremely lucky to find an Legendary on Inferno just to find out that it sucks major balls and you've would've propably been way better off with an just as rare yellow. If they don't consider buffing them majorly, they should remove them all together. Since there is no point in classify/colorcode something a tier higher than yellow when they truly aren't. So, who needs that stuff anyway then? Anyways, like I said, there is not point for me in chasing a rotten carrot. I don't get that lucky feel from Yellows, im sorry, it may sound stupid but it is what it is. Yes, I want something shiny. The "Holy fuck I found a Buri or Windforce" is just not there for me in D3.
I don't want to beat Inferno, I wan't to make my character stronger, solid Diablo progress. If my endgame goal was just to kill some special mobs or end some act to make progress I would propably still raid in WoW. But this is supposed to be Diablo... but I'm not so sure about that anymore.
Again, there is no point for me to dick through Inferno on the hunt for a rotten carrot.

Lol dafuq except for having no stats at all, general affixes on this are really good but DAFUQ IS THAT BASE DAMAGE. Seriously? I was dreaming founding two azurewrath's for my barb to dual wield my way trough inferno before the game came out.
Anyway, this game is a hack'n slash, of course it has to be harder on later difficulties but like I said this is a HACK'N SLASH. After 250 hours, I should've been farming gear for fun and out of greed, like in D2. Not trying to kill some shitty elite packs. Ok, elite's are a good idea, i like it, but they deal WAY TO MUCH damage and gear scaling is not enough. Resistance should at least stop all that incoming damage(I'm talking about ACT2 with 800-900 res). Melee classes aren't even fun, all you can do is go full defensive while taking lots of damage and tickling elites a little with your damage.
First 3 difficulties felt right, I enjoyed hell difficulty, A LOT. There should be fun in challenge, as of now it's just pure frusturation. I hope tomorrow this game will become fun. I really, really have high hopes.

Indeed, looking forward to play inferno again on my barbarian. Hopefully the nerf to monsters damage won't be neglectable.

Just noticed something else, the "damage is no longer increased in MP" was also horseshit, at least partially. Just doing A3 Inferno solo on my DH now, first elite I come across has reflects damage. Yesterday with Lathi that meant I had to stop shooting and try to only hit one target so that I could outregen/out-LoH it. Solo I just go  though and blast through, HP doesn't even drop.

It's really a shame how Blizzard made Legendaries so fucking useless(although, they will at least fix that in a patch). I mean, the whole point of Legendary items is that they are exactly that, legendary. They are rare drops and most importantly, drops that have very good stats and a VERY UNIQUE LOOK.

Mwhahaha, can't wait for the EU servers to go live with the patch. In anticipation of the nerf I reduced IAS to something like 10% and increased Int by a lot, am currently at 24k dmg. Can't wait for all the delicious post-nerf tears.
