personally i'm going to wait on the summersale the expansion is rather good but not worth the money especially since all those functions where in civ 4 now get added in a xpansion i smell another moneygrab going on....
If you are outside the US, just connect to a US Based VPN and start the Steam Client, Gods and Kings should start downloading. You can Disconnect the VPN as soon as the download starts, you won't need it to complete the download or to play the game.

Hmm it worked here in Thailand, I had a 'will be available on June 23rd' message earlier. But after shutting down Steam, Connecting to the US via Witopia then reloading Steam, my download started automatically.
I shut down My VPN right away as I was getting a poor download speed, once it finished I Loaded the game and all the Gods and Kings stuff showed up.

Tried to download the expansion with USAIP but nope, for some reason it doesn't work. Won't start downloading. Should I use some other program for this?
I wonder if it had anything to do with purchasing my pre-order though Greenman Gaming.

On the other hand, the torrent does contain a .rar instead of an .iso (which may point to a classic fake passworded archive) and it's only 1.13 GB, which seems low.

I wonder if one could activate the expansion on Steam by downloading the 3DM-release, adding the files to the civ5-folder and then not use the crack but launch the game through a vpn.
Playing with it now here in UK, unlocked and downloaded through USAIP VPN All good, but new Nvidia Beta drivers (which are dammed good) don't allow the expansion to run in DX10/11 mode, confirmed on quite a few boards

That's why I don't use beta drivers. No matter how good they are, they always miss something.
Of course, it's laughable. We all know that ReVOLT is using in his repacks the russian and chinese cracks. And, yes 3dm game cracked the game. Still waiting for the scene release.
