I must admit, i really can't figure out why people would pay more than a couple of bucks for items for this game, what is there to do with them. Once you have cleared Inferno a couple of times, what then?
I am currently clearing inferno, going through act 3 at the moment and i haven't had that much gold to gear my characters with (profile says like 6 million gold, not sure if that includes AH or not, but haven't sold anything for more than 200k there) and that's gearing 3 characters.
Given the amount of people i've seen complaining about normal DLCs, i find it weird that this even has a market, i really find it pointless as there isn't any real endgame in Diablo 3 (in my opinion Inferno is a shitty excuse for an endgame mode).
I guess there is a lot of people with too much money in the community..

If playing the game is farming/work - then why would you spend real money so you could farm/work more efficiently? In that case, why would you buy ANY item in the game at all.
I think the basic idea is that playing the game and finding valuable items is MORE FUN than doing real work.
That said, I'm bored with D3 - and I think it's quite boring after you get done with a character (Inferno).
But I could easily see myself farming for 30-60 minutes just to see if something cool dropped, either as an upgrade for my character or something to sell. Just as long as it didn't feel like actual work.

that's where the second part of my post comes in. if you NEED a certain equipment "niveau" to play well in a pvp or highend endgame environment and are kinda stuck and need to endure hours of boring farming, just straight off buying it for $ makes more sense in terms of time investment. but right now, farming takes place in inferno act1, which makes the whole thing kinda pointless, since that IS the endgame.

lol, i didn't quote anyone on purpose. It was directed in general to people who call D3 a failure. You may like it, you may hate it, but "failure" isn't an opinion, its a measurement which it clearly didn't attained. |
Eh, failure can be an opinion, a measurement based on my personal preferences with games. It doesn't have to be factual at all. It all depends on what someone writes, and I never said that the game factually fails, I specifically said that it fails for me. |

eu rmah delayed .. fuckers ...
and i couldnt even check out the us rmah if i wanted to, i got my account locked and had to chnage my password when chaning my region and still could not check out the rmah grrrr

for those who dont know.
The RMAH was delayed because there were some huge stuff goin on with the Gold AH.
There was a gold dupe and gold stealing glitch... some people have 1.000.000.000 gold atm.
Sry if this was posted a few pages ago, dont rly follow this thread at all, because this game is broken as hell =)

They are not sure what they will do, it will be nerfed that is for sure but we don't know what to extent, it may make IAS gear completey useless.
