Well I'm finally able to buy it. So I see this doesn't work anymore
Spoiler: | 1. Download TOR. https://www.torproject.org/
2. Unpack it somewhere.
3. Go to the directory where you installed it. Open the Data\Tor\torrc file with a text editor. Replace whole contents with this:
Code:
# If non-zero, try to write to disk less frequently than we would otherwise.
AvoidDiskWrites 1
# Store working data, state, keys, and caches here.
DataDirectory .\Data\Tor
GeoIPFile .\Data\Tor\geoip
# Where to send logging messages. Format is minSeverity[-maxSeverity]
# (stderr|stdout|syslog|file FILENAME).
Log notice stdout
# Bind to this address to listen to connections from SOCKS-speaking
# applications.
SocksListenAddress 127.0.0.1
StrictExitNodes 1
ExitNodes 123.108.224.70
4. Start TOR. Firefox window will open
5. Navigate to store.origin.com and buy Battlefield 3 Premium. Use your login details to sign in to your real EA account (where your BF3 is).
6. When asked to enter billing info, enter everything correctly and real, and select a country (for example Thailand).
7. WIN. |
And I'm not sure what I'm supposed to with this

Which proxy do I use?

There's nothing wrong. My Visa Electron never worked when country was wrong on both Origin and Steam. So I had no choice but to buy premium for $49.99. The rest of the expansions should better be worth it at this price...

Couldn't buy from Origin or the website. Had to go through Battlelog of all things.
Now, quickly finish the stuff I have to do for today, and then a BF3 marathon with breaks for Supernatural Season 7

I know i know.. increase gamma... But i like how all the other map are gamma wise... its annoying having to change brightness just for this map lol... If you dont increase gamma you are at such a huge disadvantage here because people just hide in the shadows |
it's not that dark here, i don't have to do anything special to see properly in that map. maybe you monitor isn't calibrated at all?
this site can help you calibrate pretty quickly and accurately http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/

Any of you guys thought about signing us up onto a league website? Getting us some 8v8 conquest matches and stuff? We have a lot of really decent players by now. Would be fun to try and get some matches in during the week!

Sure, sounds fun. But finding 8 Humpers who can play at the same time is going to be difficult, I think.

just a heads up for those using india proxy.ea must be checking accounts as my premium has been removed from origin (close quarters is still available though).
premium payment had cleared by 2 days, then after playing for first time last night, within a few hours premium was gone.
contacted ea live chat & was told premium had been deactivated & a refund was due withing 2-3 days & would need to be repurchased.
not gonna pay full price for it lol but looks like i might get away with keeping close quarters for free if lucky.
edit. ea chat never said anything about proxy use or a payment problem, just the above about the refund.

And suddenly is their norefund policy gone... FUCK YOU EA.
One troll bought PC premium by accident, as he wanted premium for Xbox, and guess what was EA response? NO REFUNDS.
did you used your real adress or fake Indian adress? did you used credit or debit card?

maybe it's not even EA's doing. it could be your bank that saw country = India which raised some red flags and then they contacted EA about it resulting in refund. would explain why some people get refunds but not others.
