I wouldnt trust trading TBH. Remember in D2 where once you removed an item, you couldn't close or modify the trade screen for a few seconds (they added this after a few patches)... well they forgot about this in D3.. so there are scriptkiddies running around jacking people's millions of gold.

Have you done Act3 inferno AFTER the hotfix to nerf coop damage? I am pretty sure the monsters health was at least doubled or something. I have also read similar posts on the Blizzard forums. While they might have nerfed damage the overall health of monsters has been increased.
I think the hotfix is all fucked up on inferno alltogether.
I did Siegebreaker run with a Monk friend, and he did not took that much damage but it took twice as long to kill them...

The 100& critical hit chance is only because of sharpshooter. His actual dps is about half that, give or go/

I think, from what I have read is June 8th coop nerf ONLY applies to Normal/Nightmare/Hell while Inferno mode was NOT changed at all but had the HP doubled in Act2 and above.
Not sure what is their issue and it seems they hired some incompetent programmers or they did it on purpose, since RMAH comes out on 6/12/12. and Would like people to spend as much as $$$ before nerfing Inferno that will not come out until end of June/early July.
And that is My take on this, nerf everything below Inferno and Ninja-Buff inferno until Patch 1.0.3 which will not come out for at least 2-weeks. So people who will want to clear Inferno will NEED to spend $$$ for gear upgrades. |

Erm, HP was always increased in coop. On every difficulty. Damage was also increased before however and that definitely has been removed. We tried A3 as well, but that's still way out of my league, because shit hits three times as hard as in A2 again..

It seems the "Real Money Auction House" feature will require players to have a authenticator, probably a good idea as to increase security, especially with these current reports about hacking and such going on but I guess we'll see how it ends up.
(I believe the phone variant was free - if your phone supported it - otherwise you need one of those physical ones.)

Anyone has any suggestion about what I should do with all the gold? Without using AH that is. I've read blacksmithing is pretty useless. Do merchants ingame get any better or is making them usless a way to give players 'incentive' to use the AH?
I've got an answer to my support ticket today, it looks like it's written by a ten year old. Like one of those weird Nigerian scam mails you get. Is this normal for Blizzard support or am I being trolled?

DIABLO = AH.
NO AH = FAIL
as for gold - unly usefull thing is to lvl jeweler, flawless square gems drop on inferno but higher gems don drop and prizes are pretty shit so if u want to maximize that few points with higher gems (above flawless square) u need jeweler ot shitload of money.

once got a yellow from that merchant that appears after killing the warden on your way to the butcher, and actually used it for a little while. Cannot remember waht lv, must have been on nightmare.

Looking forward to the RMAH tomorrow, will you guys use it? I think it'd be best to wait until patch 1.0.3 before buying anything as the drops will increase and so hopefully the prices with it.

I expect it to be postponed once again, unless they do something major tonight during maintenance (if there's maintenance today).
