So? I would rage just as much dieing to lag in that game. Has nothing to do with what number the title got.

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.

Maybe you should read it again then. I said 1 thing about HC, that it was one thing sparking some interest after getting tired of the barb bullshit. But I just knew I would rage so much when dieing so I just quit the game.

Edit: Oh its you. Nvm. Carry on.

May i ask how long it was after you bought the game this was?
Because they claim now that they can only refund within 3 days of buying (wich is utter bullshit because the Dutch law already states that you have 7 days time to rethink your purchase and the company is OBLIGATED to take it back without asking a single question.).

So if you managed to get your refund after 3 days, i would like a copy of that ticket so i can force it down their throat.

Not for digital products nor sealed software/music/films of which the seal has been broken.

No, paypal is.

Happend before, the costs to go after that little amount of money is too high to justify it Smile

Basically, everything under ~75€ is a too low amount to go after Smile

dont be so sure aka i would check to be sure.

Here in switzerland, the shops keep telling, like everywhere else i guess, that "you cant return movies and games once opened". Turns out its total bs and by law they are forced to refund you for no matter what reason for upto (here) 14 days after purchase, aslong as you have the proof of purchase.

This law is for anything bought (digital, physical) and is 100% (anything you buy you can return for a full refund).

So, yeah sausje, might have a chance (dpeending on how long you had the game tho).

Quote:
You have a right to withdraw from a contract (purchase) when shopping online.

If you wish you may send back your t-shirt within 7 working days from the day you received it.

You don't have to explain why and the only cost you have to bear is that of returning the t-shirt (in some Member States the vendor may even have to pay this).

The seller should inform you on the procedure to follow to notify your withdrawal. Usually, you simply need to inform of your wish to withdraw, without mentioning any specific reason, and to return the good.

Be aware that for some goods the right of withdrawal does not apply:
goods made to your specifications (e.g. if you ask a vendor to make a calendar with your own photos),
goods which, by their nature, cannot be returned or perishable goods like food,
audio or video recordings or computer software, if you have opened the packaging.

That's EU law, NL does not differ from it in this case. Same applies for physical purchases.

nope.
paypal will ask $ from your bank directly, with the proof of purchase usually, and if you opened a dispute, with all the documentation.

the bank will usually refund paypal, and ask you the money.
you will need to prove that you were right to not pay trough paypal.
good luck with that, with a closed ticket which state that you canot get any refunds from blizzard/shops/whatever.
they don't have any minimum amount of $ to let things go, a bank will sue you for 5$ if you don't agree to pay them.

maybe i'm mistaking, but in my country this is the way how things works.

is usually simple to make a chargeback, without involving paypal, and the bank will usually side with you. for direct payments.

um I don't want to go find the ticket but I just said the game did not meet my expectations of a $60 title and that the downtime and server lag were not acceptable to me, and that the auction house ruined the spirit of the game which I did not foresee being the case before I bought it. Also I mentioned how I am a long time customer and asked that they accommodate me in my request for a refund so that I can happily remain their customer in the future.

I also said I'd end up giving them the money back for HotS anyway (though I probably won't because it looks bad)

i'm in eu, and i have 2 friends (from my country) which got their money back (purchased directly from blizzard store) without issues, after some days of waiting. (they made tickets 7 days - 10days after launch)
their tickets was something about that they were unable to play, even if they had a permanent internet connection, and servers were not in maintenance, servers were just fucked, and they don't have the patience anymore.
