Anything going to change about the stability. Latest version 7.0.1 crashes way too often on me lately, thinking about switching to Chromium.

Mozilla are accenting more on the speed of the browser in this version. Don't know why the 7th crashes on you - I lean onto having at around 10 tabs open daily on it, and it's been rock-stable for now.

I'm on the 7.0.1 as well and never had a single crash neither in this PC nor in the old one. Quite impressed so far Smile

Hmm stability actually became an issue when I switched from ATI 5770 to Nvidia GTX 560 Ti, but in the meanwhile we also got some FF updates. Like human_steel I have FF open with lotsa tabs and this also 24/7. I have another issue with the new GPU, kinda often the driver crashes and gets restarted by Win7. Damn perhaps I should RMA the card.

The only way you can test the GPU is to play games. Preferably GPU-intensive ones. Try the new Battlefield, Crysis, Metro, Stalker. If something's fishy about the card, you might also have hiccups when Flash videos, for example, are accelerated by the card. Or you could have just stumbled upon a faulty revision of the video driver. Very Happy

that damn firefox 7.01 is freezing for 10 seconds every now and then. Its highly frustrating. I am considering switching to chrome. Is it worth it?

That somewhat 'shady' update 8.0.1 has been known for over a week. Quite a few software news sites reported it being out, but there was nothing on mozilla's site or through the update function.

Any of you using 13 lose the ability to see flash content? All my flash content are just white boxes.. Can't use upload sites, can't view movies, play games or anything, in firefox. Flash works just fine in opera, chrome, safari etc. :/

O and yes I'm using the latest flash player.

Its not only the scrolling its the whole thing. Pages (including this one) load two or three times slower now, I think I will reinstall an older vers and disable auto updates.
