Ah ok thanks, was looking at how far it into was at 1% and it said ~230MB, so i presumed 100% = 23 GB..

Shame that crossfire ain't working properly.
Both cards are doing something but it's usually around 100% usage in total only (instead of 200%), so 70/30 then 60/40 or 30/70. Just makes no sense.

So it is clearly shown that the game ain't optimized yet, and ofc this is to be expected from beta's.
Now it's also expected, that even tho it's known to work poor on machines that SHOULD run it smooth, they don't give a fuck and don't fix it (the fps drop was caused ONLY by changing shadows).
Let's hope i'm wrong here and they do actually fix this Smile

I don't have poor machine, so I can't tell from experience, but I read numerous topics on GW2Guru where people with lowend machines were actually pleasantly surprised with how it ran (considering it's in beta state).

Also, Mike O'Brien said in Reddit AMA regarding optimizations:

Ofc it runs good on the lowest graphics, but virtually 75% doesn't give a fuck about low graphics.

Even tho the game is running off the SSD, i still get strange stuttering now and then (paired with framerate drops of about 10~15).
But if they would just enable crossfire (and sli ofc), then the framerate would be more then sufficient Smile

Thing is it's currently CPU bound. So even if they enabled crossfire it wouldn't help much because the cards wouldn't be utilized. Now, I don't have any FPS issues with my HD6870 most of them time, until there's a lot of people on screen (WvW or PvE zerg groups which I try to avoid anyway). It's playable, but sometime it's far from smooth.

And at what settings do you run, because even with just 1 card working, i have the same as yours and paired with an OCed 2600k...
And don't forget, we all have different defenition about no issues with FPS.
For me that means it runs at 60< fps all the time at the highest settings possible.

As i just tested with cpu usage:

Don't see how my cpu is limiting my gpu if it's not even being fully used on even 1 goddamn core.


Edit: Some pics for those without G19, this game supports the color display fully.

It really varies, between high 30s to about 70 fps depending on what location I'm in. When there are LOT of people (WvW) it can get as low as 15 fps...

But it's shadows causing it, nothing more nothing less.
