If you're using windows 7 update to SP1 and update your graphics drivers. At least that's what did it for me and the issue of the social club not showing on start.

Haven't played in few days, now I get a message from the launcher that an update is needed, and that I can't play before installing it.
Haven't seen any releases, so I'm assuming the old crack still works?
Edit: nevemind, just saw the theta 1.0.0.22 patch

Is anyone else getting freezing on MP only? I bought a key, downloaded retail DVD clones, and eveything worked perfect. Played through SP without a problem, arcade is fine too.
However, without failr (so far) every MP game I join I get a full freeze up within 1 min of the round starting!? Have to ctrl-alt-del and end program. No error msg other tham MP3.exe stopped working?
Running:
Windows 7 x64 Pro
Intel I5 2500k clocked too 4.4
8GB RAM
Nvidia 560ti
Can't figure this one out at all - makes me regret buying a damn key....

Thing is 5 more hours of this would have been too much. They would have to introduce some gameplay variety or the story should be much more interesting for it to keep me engaged for 10 hours. 5 seems like the perfect length for this formula.

What patches? Did you let the GAME automatically download for you, or did you run external stuff that came with your torrent/nzb download? DON'T crack the game. Just install from the 4 ISOs (make sure it's not a pre-cracked copy, like BlackBox or whatever) and then launch the game from "PlayMaxPayne3.exe" and it will update for you, then ask for your product key once you're in-game.

Damn I need a framerate limiter badly. the one in nvidia inspector doesnt seem to be working. im getting close to 90 C with vsync off, and If i turn it on the mouse feels crappy.

i dont understand why Fraps recording makes the game go below 60FPS while recording the VIDEOS...though the game seems to be recording fine...all settings on Hight (NOT Very high)

Um, because FRAPS requires CPU horsepower so performance can sometimes drop during recording.. especially on games that are already taxing, like Max Payne 3.

Yep, i get angree of all this shit so intalled game on VMware.....And guess what...Game asks me properly for activation and etc...So if i want to play it pirate i must use crack etc...So the question is why on my main machine this activation window does not appear.
I notice that on VM,sign are littlel different.On VM at start screen it says Initialising(or similar) and then activation window shows.On real PC,it just says loading...
Tried to apply the THETA crack to start the game and it became same as me real PC-profile says online,upload statistics to the site,but did not ask me for activation and MULTI options are greyed out.REmoving crack and deleting RGSC in MY Documents did not work. I am trying to fix this on VM but no luck for now...
At least find "easy" way to force activation window to attach the game to my account when i buy a key - making VM,isntalling game,no cracks and it wil show up

Seems like Theta crack makes the game think it is activated, even after deleting the actual crack. E.g. I can wait for another patch, install it and just play on without cracked files, although it won't allow offline profiles without a proper crack then.

Well, I played on medium. But it defineatly felt longer than 6 hours. But it wasn't. Did I rush it? Don't know. If you call not picking up every golden weapon part and only some of them clues as rushing, then yeah, I propably rushed. Imho I played the game at a normal pacing. I started playing at 10 in the morning and finished it at 15:40. Only knew that because I checked the time when I was grabbing something to eat afterwards.
Anyways, in no way it does feel short imho. Mostly because of all those really intense parts.

Max Payne games were never really long, 1 and 2 could be finished in a couple of hours as well.
That being said, they offer quite a replayability, especially MP3 with the highly dynamic shootouts. I played on hard (highest available from the start), and I found the game piss-easy with mouse controls (I had some problems on normal on the Xbox). So I am looking forward to hardcore mode to get a real challenge out of it.

HM...Partially you seems right.Deleting that folder really make games to think that it is not activated but instead of type filed for cd key it says some error wirh Licenses and to reinstall and reactivate the game.So maybe there are some regystri settings for that or oher files somewhere...

is the blackbox version working out there?..i mean,no install probs and stuff..
Are the 720p videos as equally good as the 1080p without differences..just size?..
because 10GB compared to 30-35...is huge...also,less pain..i guess...
EDIT: People keeps saying that,after trying to get into the crack folder or whatever,they get a BSOD..also,the antivirus detects the cracks as a possible virus..
