They own the servers, they can impose any rule they like.
Thankfully, there are other servers. Unless this becomes a widespread thing, in which cas DICE/EA will probably intervene.

i guess if you are going to buy the DLCs anyway premium is the way to go? i got many VPNs to chose from , i should go with india for the cheapest then and find someone with a credit card to pay it with?

indeed. premium package is cheaper than buying all dlcs separately. and with the "india discount" its a good deal.

Anyone from the UK been able to get the whole buying from India lark working ?
Card keeps getting declined (I know it's a working card) - guessing it's because the country can't be set to UK ? Using a credit card as well...

Meh that price is indeed cheap, but broke atm.

As described in the documentation you can also use country codes for exit nodes provided you have GeoIP file in your tor installation (for some reason I had to move it from AppData/Local/tor to AppData/Roaming/tor because the file wasn't recognized in default directory)
ExitNodes {bd},{mv},{in},{mu},{np},{sc},{lk},{th}
(these are all countries that Origin recognize for indian prices).
