Damn straight and I have been exceedingly vocal about my distaste towards Blizzard's always-on restriction.

Good taste, I hope all these games do really well and gaming companies take note and start making more new IPs, getting sick of endless sequels. |
The more I see of this gameplay trailer, the more I'm convinced this isn't a PS360 game. It looks outstanding -- the Wii-U supposedly surpasses both the PS360 in terms of performance, so it doesn't shock me all that much to see the demonstration on a Wii-U (that black controller looks very much like the new Wii-U Pro controller) and I definitely reckon the PC is on that list. The visuals look way too impressive for current-gen consoles. Hell, not just the visuals either - but the animations and the way the people in the world react to events around them. It's like watching RAGE/Euphoria 2.0 or something.

Not one fucking person has said anything of the kind. FFS, even Sin317 - staunch Blizzard supporter - has been kicking off about the online restriction and Blizzard's pathetic handling of the servers. Just because someone buys a game with always-on DRM does *not* make that person a supporter of such. It just means that sometimes, for some things, people can deal with shit like that -- but it doesn't mean they agree to it.

Yeah here's hoping its a PC game, so glad I upgraded my PC 6 months ago. The 360 is gathering dust

Hell, that looked WAY too good for current gen .. so I'm actually thinking Orbis/Durango/Wii-U/PC.

I also doubt that this is a current gen release... The black controller did look like the Wiiu pro controller. im sure current pc's can do those visuals.

So it's the first next-nextgen game, it looked definitely too good for the puny 360/PS3
But let's not despair, we'll have our PC version in 2016 :<

Wow, this game looks awesome. Short of Gabe showing up with HL3, I don't think E3 2012 can get much cooler than this.

Maybe not breathtaking but there are some aspects that make it considerably better than our typical console games, such as real time reflections, advanced bokeh filter, high resolution shadows and detailed textures. Still quite impressive

no way the xbwaks and ps3 manage such crisp optics

Uh, yes. It really looked that good to us and saying it was unimpressive smacks of naught but desperate trolling, if you ask me. Everything about that video was extremely impressive - the textures, lighting, physics, animations (the wind blowing from the alleyway at the start, shifting the guy's coat and blowing rain and wind realistically got me moist) were fantastic. Better than anything I've seen on any game so far .. even Metro doesn't have visuals that looked that good.
Again, if you ask me.
