hehe...this isn't the best news about sin2:

http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=59893

But anyway, we can now say for sure that the countdown counts down (...) to sIn2

Hmm, Sin2 on the half-life engine?
Hope they'll tweak and maximize it...
Damn, I love Sin, kind of cool,
I installed it last week with Wages Of Sin...
Runs a lot better than on my P90...
Let's hope sin2 gives the same thrill as sin gave 2 me...
Even bought the game with it's expansion!

I hated the patches tho, kept on downloading, like took me 1 night to get them.

I love cable Very Happy

Clock is now set on 3! I'm really curious, there's isn't any official news on what the clock means, right?
Cuz the news post killingBill posted said "this winter"...

Let's hope this is the countdown for the boxed version!
I'll buy it instantly!

Ritual Entertainment's long-awaited sequel to SiN will be distributed online via the Steam platform system. It will be released episodically with chapters lasting around six hours, each episode will be released every 3 to 4 months, one episode is set to cost $20/each, and will not be available in any retail store.

Shocked

yea, and might i add to the heartache....

The game has been developed on a tweaked version of the Source engine, and you can expect the first episode to be released this winter. Keep in mind SiN 2 will not be available in retail stores.

Why not, it fucking rocks, great graphics and great performance. The only problem I have with it is the limited level sizes.

LOL, the corps on the first picture is floating???

Nice screens BTW, hopefully I don't have 2 wait 18 months for the retail boxed version!

Would be sweet if they'd release sIn/Wages of sIn again, with this engine!

Mwhahahaha, check this line:

Code:
Ritual believes retail will not lose out from a system which largely bypasses them. "We are going to reach one audience by delivering episodes through the internet and we will expand to another consumer group when the retail collection of episodes hits store shelves," explains Nix. "Our early discussions with retailers indicate that they want to sell great games to their customers regardless of the initial distribution channel.  We still need to reach customers looking for a more traditional content offering at a standard price point and the retailers understand that.  A great product can thrive in both channels even if one happens before the other."

There will be a retail version Smile
But it'll be a long time, since i't will be out when all the episodes are released via steam...
I want a box anyway Very Happy
