Im curious, is there a fixed ammount of loot in the game and the higher the level the smaller the chance to find something good or is the loot auto generated based on some kind of advanced algorythm taking into account the difficulty, player level etc for calculating drops? I know the set items are fixed but the rare and magic loot?

Some people say AH affects drops. But that will be never proven and Bioshak denied it. |

I'm not denying that what Blizzard is doing is wrong.
But recording a phonecall without the other person knowing about it (and trust me, he didn't knew. Because as callcenter employee, you MUST drop the call if you think you are being recorded.) is not allowed and is illegal and i fucking HATE dipshits that do this.
Because it happend to me once when i was working at a callcenter, really fucked me over, because i made promises to even help the person what wasn't allowed...

Well, I dealt a lot with callcenter guys in my life, and out of 10 promises they made, they kept 2 on average. And it's not the guys answering the phone, it's the whole system, that makes them basically just a measure of damage control instead of solution finding. Damn straight I recorded callcenter guys already, and I recorded other conversations as well, and I provided information in a court case about a couple trying to pull a con job on me, and my phone call was valid evidence in the case here in Romania (I also told them I was recording, but made it sound over the top, and they didn't believe me - the idiots).
And about your case: you made promises to help, which wasn't allowed. So you made a mistake, the guy who recorded it just provided evidence of your mistake, he forced you to suffer the consequences of YOUR action. Seems completely fine by me. No offence meant.

But it is ok that Blizzard records your calls without your consent. I don't consider them informing you that it might be recorded as you accepting. You don't have a choice if you want to call them.

but all companies do that, they all can record any conversation for future training of employees. I don't think I have yet to call a company without hearing such a expression |

bashiok stated that due to the AH being in the game droprates are much lower then d2. and boy was he not kidding ... my first legendary after 250 hours with friends 5 friends( each 50 hours)
my first set item 100 hours into my own game. 400 hours with all my friends who have not seen a set item drop

how is boss that deals practically 0 dmg because its all radius based impossible for ranged? and there is always co-op if for some unknown reason demon hunter is special there..

How do ranged chars deal with mortar on inferno difficulty? I get my ass handed to me in Hell against them with my 51 wizard. I just stand close to them and blast them, something not possible on inferno mode.

Rollback.. and get the authenticator. Happened to me too. I scanned my comp with a different AV than AVG and found 5 or 6 trojans, mostly java exploits. Could have been those. (and try another AV)
Was your whole account ransacked or just your last palyed? My one lower level char was stripped, as well as 3 pages of stashed goods. My other chars were fine tho.

Just the last played. And no, I don't have any trojans - would be impressive if I did, considering I spend 95% of my time on Ubuntu and only use Windows to play games; I don't even download shit in Windows. They can say whatever the fuck they want, but this is some syncing bug on their end; same shit as with Batman: AC where a goddamn GFWL achievement is what broke the savegames for many (including me).
Fuck the authenticator bullshit as well, this is not my account getting hacked or compromised. Even bruteforcing my password would take centuries (ever seen http://xkcd.com/936/ ? I've got a password like that). This is them fucking up.

Still irrelevant to me, and I suspect a lot of other people who've had this shit happen. Mind you, my Battle.net account is absolutely ancient, with every one of their game attached to it, except for SC2. Password's always been the same and if anything had been worth stealing, it would've been my WoW characters, which were decked out pretty much completely back in the day.
