It feels a lot like Max was scooped from his regular noir New York and thrown in this stereotypical GTA world, where all the characters seem more talkative and ... jolly, for lack of a better word, as opposed to how grim i seem to remember the entire cast of MP 1 & 2. Yet it manages to preserve just the right amount of grittiness through Max's narration and dialogue to make this game a proper sequel in my eyes.

I found some of the early level design to be so and so, but later in the game i ended up enjoying myself a lot in the different locations the game provides you with. At some point even though i wasn't in Max's typical environment from the first two games, I did think "Now this is what MP is all about".

Plot-wise i found the game to be just catchy enough to keep me going ( tbh i never got into MP's storyline too much past the generic "man with nothing to lose" scenario ), and I enjoyed the character development, even though they seemed to be killing loads of people at some point O_o.

In relation to the plot, i always dislike it in movies or games when the main character ( some sort of Rambo stereotype ) ends up being mugged by some 3 guys with handguns having previously killed hundreds of better equipped thugs. I really think there must be a more reasonable way to get the hero unarmed and confused :-\

Overall, i really enjoyed the game, and despite it being longer than i expected i really wished it would be even longer than that. I'm sort of sad it's done now
