Ok, played today for a couple of hours.

Seems pretty straight forward. I have one question though: Can i buff my own staff or do I need another magician in my party to throw spell at me?

If I understand correctly there will be fusion of classes further on, can any of these enchant/buff weapons/staff by themselves if the answer was negative on first part of my previous question?

DAFUQ?! retry at last checkpoint my ass.... this game is a love hate relationship for sure. I love that it gets tough at night, but the game should at least save where it says it saves! Mad

:/

Not sure if I like the save system. One save seems good but on the other hand Ive heard of people with corrupt saves. If the save gets corrupted your game is fucked and all of your time playing it will be a waste!

lulz delix

Retry means it loads your last SAVE
Restart from check point LOADS FROM A SECOND SAVE when you complete MAIN STORY MISSIONS

This game uses the DEAD RISING save system , it so lulz that the exp states from your pawns STAY but yours are reverted to the last save Laughing

why didn't you use save ? you can do it at anyplace just press START and then BACK and it saves

this game has THREE SAVE SLOTS : YOUR SAVES , LAST CHECK POINT SAVES , AUTO SAVES

and the funnnnnyyyyyzzzz is it loads the last save that is further in the game but TO LOAD THOSE OTHER SAVES you have to get to your LOAD MENU thats IN GAME when you press SAVE/LOAD button .... in a nut shell they save management is FUCKED UP

Click the left stick to manually aim staff spells, casting a buff without a target should make it cast on yourself.

ALL DLCS ARE PUT just for RGH and JTAG

From a Different Sky - Part 1
The first ten quests to the DLC entitled "From a Different Sky". Each of the quests will require you to obtain special medallions. To start the quests interact with the Notice Board at the Pawn Guild.

Notes:
Some of the quests won't show up until you get to a certain point in-game.
If you Don't see the quests, the Notice Board will only show 6 items at a time.

From a Different Sky - Part 2
The second 10 quests of the series, 'From a Different Sky.' Their goals are simple: obtain special medallions. But it will take all your smarts to get them all. Check the notice board below the Pawn Guild to begin! *Some quests may only be taken on or completed at certain points in the story, or with certain combinations of vocations and skills. *A maximum of 6 quests appear on each notice board at a time. Please clear a few if you don't see your new quests right away.

A Coiffure You Can't Refuse
This DLC adds eight new hairstyles to the customization screen, bringing up the total to 48 different sets to choose from. Alongside the new hairstyles, a new Armor set called the Captain's Armor will be added to your storage.

Weapon Pack: the Monster Hunter
This pack makes a set of twelve weapons and shields specialized against certain foes available at the Black Cat in Gran Soren. As a bonus, you get one of each for free! Make sure to check your item storage! Just look for the blue-green icons! *This bonus can only be applied once per saved data. If the items are discarded or given away during gameplay, they will be lost.

get them at your local source

Still enjoying this game lots!

Why does everyone in Cassardis refer to me as 'Cos'?

Also I find it annoying that all the knight NPC types are called 'Ser'. Is that meant to be 'Sir' but lost in translation?

Quote:
Ser is a gender-neutral form of Sir that has been used in the Dragon Age video game series by BioWare, in Greg Bear's The Way novels, and in A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin (although only men can be called 'Ser' in this case). It has since been adopted by members of the transgender community as a gender-neutral social title and salutation.

It sounds better in fiction works using a medieval theme.

So assuming I explore most of the world but not everything, and do most quests, what kind of time do you think it would take to complete the game? Just wondering exactly how large it is in actual game play time. Smile

I would guesstimate 30-40 hours.

Whoa! This game took a really unexpected turn for the better (as if one thought that possible), I thought the game was going to end at 53 hours, but then it apparently sort of showed to me that what I thought the end was not. Spoiler below if you want to know what happens once you encounter the dragon and after:

Can I say, most under-appreciated game of the last ten years or so? Holy shit this game just keeps impressing me... and it's not over o.0 - it just keeps coming.

A review that (mostly) has it right. It seems that this reviewer played the game beyond the first encounter of Gran Soren too, unlike the rest of the game reviewers.

I'm definitely gonna get this but I think I'll wait until it's a bit cheaper.
From what I understand it has some online component where you can share NPC characters to help on your quest and that sounds kinda interesting so I think I'll have to actually buy it.

Seems like a great game though, I don't mind some flaws as long as there is awesomeness to be found.

Is this game worth playing SP completely alone on Xbox, or is it better online where you can recruit members that others created? Is that a huge part of the game or can you easily play without it?

Are the enemies scaling with your level, or not?

Went thru bandit camp with ease at level 11, now at 20+ they all of a sudden become super good, with arrows doing 300+ in damage!? At the very same camp...

Naw, they do not scale.

If you visit a location at different times however the encounters can become more difficult. The ambushes at night are much more difficult for example.

I finally "finished" the game now at 61 hours

Do you know if there is a different ending if you chose the other option mid-game that you mentioned earlier?
