i`m not saying in any way i should win. i'm saying that if he likes sports games and i like racing games an we never go into the same thread does this makes me an unactive member? my bad. i'm guessing that couple of hours a day i spend here were a waste of everyone's time.

again, i'm not saying I should win. i'm saying that either make the contest fair to everyone, or choose someone to give the game away to and don't make such a big deal about it.

I get more than that as unemployed here in Sweden but 80%+ of what I get is going straight to actually living, let alone spare time.
Don't assume everyone has work or even has enough work to spend 60$ on a game.

I get your point, I really do.. I just don't think it applies in this situation. Yes, things should be fair -- but answer me this; is it fair for someone to win a free copy of a game, an admittedly expensive one, even though they don't do anything around here except lurk? Say one person puts his/her name down and hadn't posted for a week before (which was also for another free game) - and before that, almost two months without posting. Is that fair? Why would/should he or she have the same chance at winning as someone who is active and gets involved in the forum for reasons other than putting their hand out?
I'm not singling anyone out, just making a point. That's all <3

yes, i agree with you on the fact that the game shouldn't go to someone who doesn't do anything in the forum and just tries to gain free stuff. i don't agree with the other part of the "rulles". half of the people here with more post than me (again, just using myself only as an example) came here after me. that only means that i don't open my mouth anytime i have an opinion on some subject. it does not mean i'm not an active member.

OP can decide what he wants to do with his game. Takes a few mins to check and pick a number and hope you get entered into the draw. It's not some kind of an official competition. A private person is giving away his property and it's his right to decide how it's done. In other words, in the end it just boils down to: vaifan's game, vaifan's rules. It's really as simple as that. You don't have to like it, or consider it fair, but it is what it is.
