Was about to ask the same question, which mods are worth installing for a second giant playtrough. Not watching a guy doing installs n stuff for 45mins,a simple "top 5-10" should be enough

149 hours after... I'm done. Very Happy

The DLC's were pretty good, except Honest Hearts that was utter shit and Lonesome Road that had an incredibly stupid progression mechanic (which I don't know if it was as vastly criticized as it should be, if bethesda had done something like that they'd be flamed to no end but since it was obsidian...).

And unlike I've thought and said on this thread right after my first playthrough this game is just not better than FO3.
It's much much MUCH better.

So FO4 will probably be developed by bethesda, but I hope they bring back obsidian (and Fargo, who knows?) back for FO: "Another post apocalyptic state name".

Unless of course they decide to do what they did with TES with Fallout, I.E make Fallout Online. Then the series will just fade away Sad

So true, heh. When playing the game I was like: "Ok, now I really notice all the stuff FO3 was lacking". On the surface of things, the game looks pretty similiar, and that's probably why it got branded as FO3-clone in most reviews. But the deeper in you go, the more apparent it becomes that it's an infinitely more complex, better written, and hell - even better designed game.

78 hours clocked and I still haven't played past Novac Laughing

I always end up restarting when some cool new mod comes out. Not to mention the time spent fucking around with the GECK and testing stuff in-game. I've probably restarted the game at least a couple dozen times by now.

Just started again a couple of days ago with ~2 gb of mods and the game is as close to perfect as it can get IMO. Determined to actually finish this time around. Razz

Are you nuts?
The regular ES series will continue strong, even with that little speed bump called Elder Scrolls Online.
Skyrim was a huge hit, and the team behind it has (and will have) nothing to do with ESO.

Pfffft weakling, I did at least 118 hours on my first playthrough

You should try and grab the DLC's when another steam sale comes up and you can buy them all for $10, aside from Honest Hearts (only things it has going for it are the Burned Man and everything related to the survivalist such as logs, desert ranger armor and rifle) they're pretty good.

I've all the DLC's, bought them on a Steam sale. But I want to make a break now. It's time to play something different less intense. I'm thinking on Dragon Age 2, which I haven't played yet. Embarassed
I need now something with a lot of awesome buttons. Mindless awesome buttons. Very Happy

Nothing on this earth makes Dragon Age 2 worth installing, let alone playing.

what's wrong with playing one year later? i do that often and it's nice, games are usually patched up and fixed by that time
(no i'm not implying that DA2 was fixed to DA1 quality)

I didn't say it was a problem. And I agree with you, at least in the case of some games, you're playing with some of the issues fixed.
