Hello guys.

Just got Kalisto's Xenosaga Episode 1 RIP.

But i have a problem, after 7h of gameplay the game freezes in a animation.
It freezes before too, everytime i reach an inimation that start's in the same room, but i can bypass it pressing pause and the triangle.
But this time this won't work, cause the animation start in that room. Sad

Heard that a Paradox trainer would make the game work, got it, still it won't work.

Can anyone give me a solution? did anybody crossed the same problem in this or other games?

Specs:
PSTWO v12: matrix infinity chip, firmware 1.45

i have the same version and i have completed the game without any problem Smile

was there any big loading time?

My game freezes and i don't even have acess to pause, spent 3 different dvd's and the game still freezes, at the same spot, could it be loading?

i have burn the game onto a verbatim DVD-R at 2x speed and work without any problem

@killian, did you use the pal/ntsc selector during the group intro to match your system? it solves a lot of problems with that game on pal consoles (off-sync, jittery video)...

don't i need some magical illegal thing?

yes, i used the one who cames with the rip, tried both pal and ntsc, neither worked.

but i solved the problem, got the DVD9 Iso, recorded it with DVDdecrypter and it worked perfectly.

Damn, those dvd9 sure aren't cheap. lol

by the way, this only works on infinity modchips, firmware v1.45+, or so i heard

no,with the toxic dl patcher it works on any modchip that can read dvd9 Smile

I have the Strike release of xenosaga, is it the same yours?
I have a "old" Matrix mxl2 , do i have to apply the toxic patcher or not? (gt4 with patch works fine)
Then, How do i have to set the dvddecrypter to burn it ?

My Xenosaga version was the one from Kalisto.

Regarding Dvddecrypter, junst change the booktype to DVD-ROM. That should do the trick, it worked for me Smile
