I have my pc connected to my samsung tv Laughing
I play most of my games sitting on a chair to the side of the tv.
my mouse pad is on the arm rest (falls most of the time Crying or Very sad)
my keyboard is on my lap.

http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/S79825193/
this is my chair \o/

I've no time to clear out my small bedroom and since most of it is garbage and i don't has car I can only do a bit at a time since i can't load out everytime at a time Crying or Very sad but i'm working on it. Soon it'll be epic Very Happy

Laughing We made everything in our workshop. My dad is a carpenter (so am I a bit)

There are drawers on left and right, as well as cupboards. it is very practicall.

yeah. i am not happy about cheap shit rollers for the keyboard part but it all works and it is sturdy. at least keyboard doesn't collect dust

It is all a bit small, because that room is a fucking box. The couch behind that chair decomposes up to the desk Laughing there is not even 1cm crack !

that's why there are no handles in the drawers etc. but it all opens alright anyway.

I am not happy about my pc there on the right and about cable management... its a fucking mess behind this thing...

Cable management is always a mess .. that's why we stuff it behind our desks and out of the way, hehe. Either way - that's a nice desk, even better when it's homemade =)

I can't stand roll out for keyboard business. I have heavy hands Crying or Very sad and that shit never feels like it can support me. Especially when I rest my hands on them. Laughing

Why not just get a coffee table? That's what I use.

Edit: This is what I have

Well I do lie down a lot on my sofa, but space for my legs isn't an issue when using my coffee table.

It's not as good as it seems. My LG2253W was already a big step forward from, but once you get a decent IPS panel..suffice it to say my LG doesn't look anywhere near as good as I thought it did (and it is one of the best out there, AUO panel Razz), but the old Samsung just looks plain bad now Very Happy

It is my first widescreen too. bought it 5 years ago (WHOLE MONTH SALARY) It was fucking awesome then. Now it is a piece of shit more/less.
Bad blacks, backlight, color bleeding, grading etc.

It is still a solid screen tho. I opened it a few time but don't see how could i repair anything myself if it broke.

i had IPS and most of its variants, VA and most of its variants. at the end i returned to TN, because other techs are pretty shit for gaming. what good is superior color reproduction of IPS if it blurs like shit.

I've also heard that TN are best for gaming but really... vertical viewing angles are terrible... especially in darker games.

Hopefully I will be getting new screen and pc in a couple of months
