imo, this is too late. company of heroes has already so many awesome mods that add so much to the game...

Please share. What mods are good?

blitzkrieg
eastern front (adds the soviets to the game, so the CoH 2 is not needed anymore)
modern combat

there are others too but these are the best imo
this all can be found on moddb.com

The first part remains one of my favourite strategy/tactical games; cant wait for this one, especaily as this would be something new instead of the same old British/American forces.

It's like a text book example of advantages of digital distribution Smile

You'd have to contact support if you want to get a key through the official channels. Back in the old days I seem to recall people sending pictures of their game CDs, boxes or whatever else. Not sure if it still works this way. They might be more lenient in case of an older game like that though Smile

interesting to see it's still PC exclusive, seems like the attempt to port traditional PC RTS was not quite good idea..

Sad

He's the guy that made some "bombastic" announcements regarding Homefront and that THQ was "playing with the big boiz nao".

I liked THQ they had some great IPs. But well... release DoW 3 and "Good-night, sweet prince;
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

About that Bilson, it's all derp pr stuff after all, I doubt that guy knows anything about game development and such. Razz The important thing is that the sequel stays true to the original (and from the first details I think we're on the right way).

Though...

Pero que tío guarro que eres, ixi! Surprised

Just wait for another spanish THQ store price cut with a 50% price cut stacked on top of the first one and buy the game + season pass for 15€, just like Saints Row 3 Aww Yeah

Well I don't care what some suit from THQ says to raise their stock price, but I do have faith in Relic. They haven't disappointed me yet with any of their strategy titles. Even DoW 2 was decent.

Looks great Smile

Also:

Quote:
It wasn’t all talk though – there was a good solid twenty minute gameplay demo to be seen as well. Since it was early code and we were watching it on a big screen as opposed to watching the ‘driver’ himself, it was hard to get a solid feel for what Company of Heroes 2 is going to be like, but so far it’s looking like more of the same – only better.

Too few franchises are content with just sticking with what they know and improving on that, so it’s good to see Relic staying true to what the last game was like. The visual improvements are really noticeable, and really impressive, and the action is classic Company of Heroes.

The most obvious and interesting change is the inclusion of ‘True sight’. Instead of the entire potential line of sight being open to you, you can only see what anyone actually in that situation would be able to see. No more magically seeing what’s behind trees, or on the other side of that building.

Doesn't seem to be derpified which is very good Razz

So are we going to see Italian, Romanian, Hungarian, and Slovakian troops? Because they were a part of Operation Barbarossa - the invasion of the Soviet Union.
