Someone finally have to do it.
Pc gaming still lacks in good support for:
4+gb of ram
4+cpu cores (not to mention most games have 2 cores wrong)
and 64bit which is mostly a pain more than advantage
3080 | ps5 pro

By Microsoft standards every good consumer OS is followed by a crap OS. Windows 7 is great, so Windows 8 will be utter shit just like Vista was.

What's all the hate for Win8? I use it since the CP is out and wouldn't want to go back to Win7.
I guess you never used it and are just judging from screenshots or are just repeating what others are saying. Oh well it's your loss.

From what little I've seen about Windows 360 Generation, I can say that it's absolutely horrible and pointless. I can't understand why anyone would install that.

I completely agree with both of you, Windows Vista got an unfairly bad reputation due to a shoddy launch and issues that were fixed promptly, I guess by then people had already made up their minds. Windows 8 on the other hand is an ugly fucking mess suited - and built - for tablets. Even the Ribbon UI for non-Metro use is ghastly as all hell. Why anybody would willingly choose to subject themselves to that horror is beyond me.. and to actively defend it is downright shocking.
